Only thing that I disliked was that steering wheel. I ended up buying a wooden 3 spoke steering wheel, and removed it when I sold each one of 3 second gens that I owned. Wood does not conduct heat or cold very well so it was cool to the touch in Summer and my bare fingers didn't get frostbite in Winter. Oh yeah forgot that I hated those hidden windshield wipers in winter. They would inevitably get frozen from melting snow and ice inside. The wiper blades would get damaged from chopping away with my ice scraper. Of course I could not lift up the wipers more than a few inches to clean the space underneath! Genius design by Chevy.😮
I bought one of these brand new off the show room floor in sept 79. dark charcoal metallic , 350 auto. $9200 all in. I thought it was cool. lol , it wasnt. lol
78-81 Z28’s are starting to bring really high prices. This is actually fairly reasonable in the current market. If this was a manual transmission, I’d be very interested.
The car is nice, but those T- Tops are super dangerous if you get hit on either side your probably won't survive, just saying. And the price is way too high 😢
These cars are being priced out Idk if they sale for 30-40 k but I wouldn’t buy it for that price Love to have one cause I had one as kid but I’ll buy a vette or newer z28 way less money

Looks nice, but it needs a 383 stroker so it'll have performance to match. Those cars were pretty wimpy in stock form.
Yeah but where are you gonna let it out w/o risking a speeding, if not a reckless driving ticket? They can add up pdq.
$29,900???????😮 OUCH!
