Super stoked to see you have "Himalayan" by Band of Skulls in your collection. Discovered that band right when their second album "Sweet Sour" came out. Shortly after "Himalayan" I discovered Rival Sons' discography!

Some great stuff there. I can see your influences in pretty much all of your records. I especially love that you appreciate local LA bands. A lot of people don't know that even Captain Beyond (with Rod Evans who sang The Deep Purple song Hush.) were local I noticed there's a part in one of your songs that reminds me of Morning Will Come by Spirit. I think the reason why I love Rival Sons so much is because their influences are all of my favorite bands.... Perfect

Scott I’m glad to see a band like Rival Sons exists in a world full of subpar performers who rely on auto tune, drum samples and time alignment to sugarcoat a mediocre performance. You guys along with Greta Van Fleet are showing that rock music is alive and well.

As a longtime vinyl collector, there are some things that are killing me to see.
1) Dont stack your records on top of each other. You don't want your records to warp!!!
2) Inserts man! Youll thank me later.
3) I'll give you a better turntable. That tonearm will EAT away at your records overtime.

You're wrong Scott, there is nothing more interesting than browsing through someone's record collection. You know the person a lot better once you've seen their music tastes. I do hope there's some Rory Gallagher in there somewhere.

Great collection! INXS underrated?? Kick dominated the charts in late '87 and well into 1988. It still holds up well - a classic, but far from underrated.
The first time I saw INXS was supporting Queen at Wembley when they were promoting the listen like thieves album and idiots in the crowd were throwing stuff at them. Crazy because they rocked.
The nuggets compilation ... so yeh that’s the nuggets compilation.. he didn’t say anything about it but I know it’s good from what he said 🤔

Great record collection, Scott, but you got to take care of it. Store them vertically. Put the album covers in poly record sleeves to keep them from rubbing. Handle the records from the edges, not where the stylus hits the grooves. Keep them clean. They'll sound better and last way longer! 👍👍👍
