A longplay for SMB3 hack is Super Mario Bros. 3 Classic.
Super Mario Bros. 3 Classic is a remake of the original Super Mario Bros. made over a few weeks by DoctorFrowny during the lockdown of 2020. It stays faithful to the earlier game while adding some extra bonuses offered by the newer title.

If it can be improved more similar in every detail and if difficulties can be adjusted based on progressive levels (like Missile Bills were well-adopted in W8), then that is perfect.

What is wrong with the BGM of Morton Koopa Jr. at 8:00?
Level 5-3 is advised to have Bullet Bills instead of icy roads.
6-1 with Lakitu as well as "icy roads" may be a little too hard, while 6-2 without "icy roads" may be not challenging enough. So why not exchange the roads?
In the high level 7-2, now that "easy-to-use" Frog Suit is available, screen animation can be added to rebalance the lowered difficulty.
In the first maze 4-4, the concept of using screen animation & Pipes is very good.
However, in the maze 7-4, the time limit can be reduced to 200 seconds and/or the screen animation can be sped up since who would go the wrong ways seeing the bright & clear Pipes? (In 7-4, Warp Doors would be much better than early seen Pipes.)
Treasure Ships can be also added hiddenly in the worlds, and the Boomerang Brothers in the hidden ships can be replaced by Boom-boom.

This is probably the best Hack Rom gameplay ever.. look at all the worlds with a reference to SMB stages to it. I love this ❤❤❤👍

The only Super Mario Bros. 3 hack that could possibly be better than this is Super Mario Bros. 3Mix.
I mean, sure, that’s because SMB3M has custom music (and backgrounds, and levels, but in a way that is more challenging than difficult) and SMB3C doesn’t, but to the advantage of Super Mario Bros. 3 Classic, they sure as hell nailed the interesting concept of if Super Mario Bros. 1 had the aesthetics and music of SMB3 for the NES (the only real nitpick I have towards this game would have to be the fact that from worlds 1-6, it’s all the same dialogue “Oh thank heavens! You rescued me from the Koopas! Thank you so much. Here is a gift from the Princess.” “Greetings. Thank you for saving the king. I have enclosed a jewel that helps protect you. Princess Toadstool.”, not to mention how much more honourable and enjoyable it would be if Peach were playable like in Super Paper Mario and a couple Super Mario games (Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario 3D World)!

hello friend can you pass me your rom in nes format what happens is that I download the IPS file and patch the rom but the rom comes out wrong when playing it and it can't be seen please.
Go to Super Mario Bros. 3 (USA) (Rev A) and then use IPS patch the same file.

However, we still need to use IPS patcher to patch the SMB3 (USA) (Rev) into a new hack rom with the hack ips file to be found on line first.
