@@albaal7035 adieu is French as far as I’m aware but the sound at the end of the word is foreign to English speakers so it makes sense that some people don’t know how it’s pronounced. But no that’s not how you say adieu

the irony is that guessing a word you know is wrong for information is totally a valid and often optimal play. Ideally you want to avoid it if there are better guesses that give the same amount of information _and_ aren’t definitely not the answer but we’re not robots with a photographic memory of the dictionary. And sometimes you’re in a situation where you know 4 of the letters but the 5th letter could easily be 3 or more different letters. Then instead of gambling and potentially using 3 or more guesses just to figure out which letter is the right one, you guess a word that has as many of the potential letters as possible to narrow it down. 🤓☝️
