That's ok. If u want better quality auido U should invest in a dircetional micrphone. This micrphone sngles out all other noises and only gets the auido from whatever it's pointed dierctly at.
The MBTA purchased their original 18 (1000-1017) F40PH's from EMD and not from Amtrak. In 1987-1988 the MBTA purchased F40PH-2C's numbered 1050-1075 from EMD. Then in 1991-1993, MBTA made a purchase of F40PHM-2C's (numbered 1025-1035 with the addition of 1036) built by Morrison Knudsen. During the 1990's only the F40PH's were rebuilt into F40PH-2's. In 2003-2004, all F40PHM-2C's were rebuilt and all F40PH-2C's were rebuilt, and kept the same designations. In 2010 around 10 F40PH-2C's and F40PHM-2C's were rebuilt by BET. In 2015 all 18 of the F40PH-2's were retired. 1052, and 1062 were purchased by MASSDOT and was repainted in the MASSDOT wishbone scheme. F40PH-2C's and F40PHM-2C's numbered: 1025, 1026, 1028, 1031, 1032, 1035, 1050, 1051, 1054, 1057, 1060, 1061, 1063, 1066, 1068, 1069, 1074, and 1075 will be rebuilt into F40PH-3C's due to the previous rebuild failing.
