I think the best comeback is when he legit comes back and says, " I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
This scene explains John 1:1-14 “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” 14 And The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us”
Although the word became flesh, it is clear that the word is Jesus, which is the audible voice of God becoming tangible [hence FLESH]. Jesus is the Son who executes the fathers will. Where I am still confused is why they chose "I am the Law of Moses" to use. By default, the law of Moses was different than the Law of God. The law of Moses was what Col 2:14 describes handwriting of ordinances that was nailed to the cross.
@@fernandoprado6931 Perhaps the law of Moses is the Ten Commandments... written, then given to Moses, BY God which then would be Jesus, because He 🐑🕊 is of God. 🦁✝️🐑🕊

Gods law and Moses law are two different things. One is perfect the other is not. How anyone can think a law saying to kill a man for picking up sticks comes from the same person as the law to not kill, is beyond me. Jesus literally told a man to pick up his mat on sabbath yet Jesus never sinned? How can this be? Because those laws of men, Torah, are not Gods laws. They were given to a hard hearted people who thought they could be righteous by keeping laws. Just like they rejected God as king so God gave them Saul. If they won’t listen all he can do is let them learn the hard way. @@elrond3737 So far, most if not all of the scenes are theologically accurate if you understand how to read the bible from the lens of its historical commentators. The production team indeed has a plethora of consultants from Catholic, Protestant, Messianic and Rabbinical clergy and scholarship. While I agree with you that reading the Bible should supersede the series (because it’s guided by the Holy Spirit but cannot be scripture itself), but the show is theologically and academically sound enough that people can say it’s a very accurate rendition of Scripture. If you do have any points that you think are inaccurate, it would be good to discuss them hear. But you must be aware that it may only be inaccurate from what you currently understand, but if explored enough, such seeming contradictions would cease to be so.

Don't you mean the Son of God?
If that wasn't the best OG comeback, I don't know what is.

This isn't what The Messiah looked like this is a graven image portrayal read Exodus 20:4, Leviticus 26:1, Duetornomy 4:16 this is idolatry
This scene explains John 1:1-14
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made”
14 And The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us”
YOU GOT IT CLEAR. GOD BLESS YOU AND PRAISE TO THE KING OF KINGS.
Thank you for relating this scene to this scripture.
@@fernandoprado6931 I find this a very interesting perspective that you shared. I think I’ll study that out - what you wrote and Col 2:14.
@@fernandoprado6931 Perhaps the law of Moses is the Ten Commandments... written, then given to Moses, BY God which then would be Jesus, because He 🐑🕊 is of God. 🦁✝️🐑🕊

The crucifixion probably had a lot to do with it. A crucified messiah is like calling a skinny man a power lifter 🏋️♂️
The messiah was supposed to save his people from their enemies. Jesus was crucified by his people's enemies.

@@jackhackman7777 How could a 1st century jewish person living under the Roman rule determine what is true?
@@aaronmonroe7932 That's how it was interpreted. It doesn't explicitly say what it means to vanquish enemies and liberate captives, or what exactly the enemy was or what the definition of captive means. No. Every translation of the Holy Bible indicates that the Local Roman authority who STAYED in trouble with Rome for using too much violence (Check it yourself...) Actually said...

Paul even tells us people back then we’re still trying to put themselves back under the law of Moses and sadly some so even still today.
