I started playing the game like two days ago and my first experience was kinda wild (also its my first mmorpg game i have ever played lmao). Ive already seen pretty much all sorts of things like people arguing about mexican food in the announcement chat, a cult of 8 Chii players gathered in a circle doing the dance emote for 20 minutes straight, people trash talking each other because of their mains via normal chat and people throwing just thousands of words (most likely item/location/stat names and such) at me that i dont fuken understand. I also somehow managed to break the game on character select screen where Bloomerchen's (idk i prob mispronounced it) hair got literally separated from the model and was just stationary in the middle of the fuken screen during that little cutscene after you create a character which looked absolutely ridiculous but fucking hilarious. I was already on a verge of an ironic mental breakdown bc of this game but then this glitch occurred just finishing me off completely. Oh and it also happened TWICE in a fuken row lmao (cuz i tried to delete the slot and retry to make it work the proper way and it didnt work). The community is bat shit insane by the looks of it but i dont rly pay much attention to it (tho i cant really be immersed into a tragic story of smn like Bloomerchen or Chii, Iris or idk the blonde sword girl whatever her name is while i literally see "Your Honour, how could this be a hate crime if enjoyed doing it" in announcement chat in the bottom left corner of my fucking screen during a flashback sequence. The game itself is kinds mid and inventory system is complete fuken arse and it prob took me hours to get used to it but that aside i kind of enjoyed the game so far. Played as every character for at least like 2 hours each besides the 2 male characters because cmon why tf would i play as someguy with metallic arms or whatever or a dude with akimbo pistols when i can play as a walking arsenal of the US military equipment, a dual blade slap-chop, a psychotic-mentally unstable girl (average twitter user), that one girl with a spear or smth idk never really liked playing as her, a mf ninja catgirl, a bassline loli and a girl with a giant fucking rocket hammer?
So ye i definitely liked the game. Will definitely play it some more.
Also the optimization part is kinds true since Grace city's optimization (unlike any other location in the game that ive been to so far) is absolute fuken ass. And the FPS drops arent too common to me but they also occur sometimes. The most common issue i have is the camera lock type of thing when i walk next to a wall the camera would just stop following the character for a sec. Also the FoV sucks ass too i guess, playing in fullscreen is extremely awkward with fov THIS bloody low.
Also mad respect to those mfs who give Ephnel dark hair, absolute fucking gigachads cuz white hair Ephnel is petty overrated
