I learned to crochet a bit as a youngster in the 1970's, and really never made much more than a few granny square projects. I was gifted a knitting loom set and a box of yarn for Christmas and having never knit before I got hooked 😂 on looming hats, scarves, and slippers for my family and friends. I've finished 9 projects so far. But then I found the crochet Stuffies and with my 1st grandchild coming this year I threw myself into crocheting lovey's and I just finished the grey bear you have the 2 part tutorial on from 4 years ago I think. I have decided that you are my favorite to learn from. And I'm just really a beginner. No problem with your accent for me. I grew up with a family full of a wide variety of accents. From Lakota, to Scottish, to German, to Spanish, to Korean, and to round it all off an Italian great aunt who spoke 9 languages fluently and was a UN translator.
I love this but I really wish you mentioned stitch counts at the end of rounds. Even a screen graphic? I’ve been doing amigurimi for a while but the ears are giving me fits with no counts or explanations.
Loved this pattern so cute and relaxing. I wrote your instructions down as i watched (i watched a couple times lol) so i could refer back to my notes and how i usually read patterns. Thanks so much! So cute!
Thank you for sharing this "FREE" pattern! I truly enjoyed making mine and the instructions (as always with your patterns) were as clear as a bell. Looking forward to my next project :)
I have made many amigurumi’s following UA-cam instructions and yours was the hardest by far to follow. I would consider myself intermediate. I would suggest adding stitch counts to each section. Your accent also made you hard to follow (no discrimination, just honesty). I often follow video instructions and purchase the pattern after if I’m happy with the product. I would be hesitant to purchase because this was hard to follow correctly. This is a beautiful lovey regardless and it came out as my own.
For me it was the way she tells you the stich pattern. It helps when your just say 1 s.c + 2 dec. But instead she says Decrease every two stitches. Idk. Never had a video confuse me like this. I would consider myself an excellent crochet artist and I've watched alot of videos to follow along with and this was one of the harder ones for me.
I am from the Netherlands, first time ever doing this and it is finished! Perfect for beginners en good explain of what you need to do as wel with video!
Omg please tell me about the ears! M confused about the ears too. How did you increase? And when you joined the chain seven into a circle, did you have a round of six single crochets or seven?

Could you give the finished measurements for the body and the circumference of the head, please? Using a different kind of yarn and want to keep it proportional.
Hi I love your product and so far I’m doing pretty good I’m using the same yarn as you are and I’m just a little confused on how to do the arms and legs .
Hi, every second stitch means decrease, one single crochet, decrease, one single crochet all the way around. Every stitch means decrease next to decrease. Decrease means crochet two stitches and get one.
Ok so I have question 🙃 everything went so tick and head so big. First I know I didn’t use the right tools, I have 3.5 needle instead 5mm. But does the yarn have size too or not? My yarn look the same but stronger one 🧐 I think your yarn looks more thinner but maybe because you are using size 5 needle. I did one leg but I’m not happy how it looks , is big and fat , have to fix it also 😢 I’ve ordered the correct size of needles and will tray same again but will different colour. It’s my first soft toy and I feel like I’m having two left hands 😢😢
