That's awesome Darren! I remember the first time I saw Turnip28 on Instagram, I was immediately hooked and couldn't wait to start kitbashing as soon as I could. These days, when I need a change from working on historical projects, I always turn to Turnip28 😃👍
What I like the most of this project is how happy it has made you! It is inspiring me just to go and do something for fun - that's what hobbying should be about!
That's awesome, cheers dude! It's definitely one of those projects that always makes me happy to work on, it's just really enjoyable coming up with bizarre creations and rummaging through bits boxes. Definitely agree with you about having fun while hobbying 😀👍
Looks great, love that stump gun buried in soil and bones. Every time I see a unit of fodder in the mud I hear Abbot & Costello - “His mudder was a mudder. His fodder was a mudder.” “How can his fodder be a mudder?”
Stump Gun and Shrine look awesome! I'm not a master on lore stuffs but ...how about the prayers of that Preacher on the Shrine keeps this Gun working? Pure devotion !
Cheers James, much appreciated! I think working on Turnip28 is probably my favourite part of the hobby right now, kitbashing weirdness and unlimited creativity 😀
Thanks Dan, much appreciated! I always enjoy working on a new Turnip28 project. There is pretty much endless possibilities for creativity and I love rooting through bits boxes for a few choice items 😀👍
Cheers Darrin, it really is a great way of using bits and pieces you'd not normally use. This is why my collection of sprues and spares is a bit out of control 😀👍
Thank you, that's awesome! Turnip28 is definitely my favourite type of project to work on at the moment. Such freedom to pretty much create what I want 😃
they look incredible! I am starting my own regiment, with Bavarian infantry from Vitrix, Agincour foot knights from Perry... and lots of green stuff :P
That's very kind, thank you! Ahhh that sounds like it will be a pretty awesome combination! Turnip28 really is a great way of combining different kits and different periods 😀👍
Thank you! I've already painted a French Napoleonic drummer but I much prefer the Skaven one 😅 Link to the rules is below 👍 www.patreon.com/posts/turnip28-core-81080090
Hey Ste! I've been tempted with Turnip 28 for a looong time, and not just to annoy / disgust Don McHugh at our games club! I like the skulls you used for the Toadies - great touch! Also, if doing a regiment with a distinctly Napoleonic feel to it including cavalry, would you recommend a particular cult? Great video bud.
I actually think Don would be very very interested in seeing Turnip28 at the club. In fact, I think this would be a fantastic idea 🤣 I would definitely go for the Slug's Lament as they certainly have a Napoleonic feel to them. Their Brutes are replaced with Grog veterans with huge military moustaches! They were the first cult I built and have a very distinctive military feel to them. Hope that helps! 😃👍
Cheers Justin, much appreciated mate! No worries, the skulls are from a box that Warlord Games sells called Children of the Hydra's teeth and the tufts are all from the big tuft box by Warpainter 😀👍
No, it's purely an aesthetic thing. I was actually intending to single base the figures in this regiment as opposed to multibasing but changed my mind at the last minute 😃
Cheers Sean! I really enjoyed putting the Stump Gun together. I didn't really have any plans on how I wanted it to look so just kept adding stuff until it ended up looking like that 😃👍
(original posted with an old account) Hello! The next TurnipCon gaming event is on November 19th (Sunday) in Bristol. If you happen to be available and interested I can reserve a ticket for you when they go on sale. :)
Fantastic idea and one that I've been thinking about recently. I have a few 30k Space Marines in the stash that may be getting the Turnip28 treatment in the near future 😃👍
Great stuff! More T28 content please!
That's awesome, thank you! Definitely more Turnip28 content on the horizon. I've been looking at cults again as inspiration for a new project 😀👍
you introduced me to Turnip 28 and I am now addicted ! thank you Sir :)

The great root has blessed us with an outcry from the world below! Love the cannon and theme, if you can’t tell.
Thank you! I'm already planning my fourth regiment. The root has truly been bountiful to us this year 😃
Looks great, love that stump gun buried in soil and bones.
Every time I see a unit of fodder in the mud I hear Abbot & Costello - “His mudder was a mudder. His fodder was a mudder.” “How can his fodder be a mudder?”
Thank you! I knew I wanted the Stump Gun to look different to a normal cannon and thought a big pile of mud and bones could work 😀👍
Stump Gun and Shrine look awesome! I'm not a master on lore stuffs but ...how about the prayers of that Preacher on the Shrine keeps this Gun working? Pure devotion !
That's actually a really interesting take that would definitely fit in with the lore 😃👍
I love those brutes, super cool idea!
Thank you! They've been sat in a box for a little while so it was good being able to put them to use 😀👍
So odd and so cool! Love the work you've done on these guys! Great use of your creativity.
Cheers James, much appreciated! I think working on Turnip28 is probably my favourite part of the hobby right now, kitbashing weirdness and unlimited creativity 😀
Always love seeing your Turnip stuff Ste! Wonderful creativity!
Thanks Dan, much appreciated! I always enjoy working on a new Turnip28 project. There is pretty much endless possibilities for creativity and I love rooting through bits boxes for a few choice items 😀👍
Awesome 🤩, great job sir 👏🏼
Thank you, much appreciated! Always enjoy working on a new Turnip28 regiment 😃
great work an interesting army and like you said a good way to use those bits and pieces left on sprues
Cheers Darrin, it really is a great way of using bits and pieces you'd not normally use. This is why my collection of sprues and spares is a bit out of control 😀👍
@@OnPointHQ haha yeah the wardrobe door in my room stays closed it scares me
love the T28 stuff!
Thank you, that's awesome! Turnip28 is definitely my favourite type of project to work on at the moment. Such freedom to pretty much create what I want 😃

Amazing work Ste. I love these guys. 🙂
Cheers Jim, these were a lot of fun to work on. Always enjoy working on Turnip28 😀👍
Wonderfully bonkers 😜 👍
Thank you, this absolutely describes Turnip28 very accurately! 😃👍
Great work ste, I like the stump gun, I hope they give the barrel a good clean before firing 😂
Thank you! I definitely think the Stump Gun is in need of a rather good clean. I wouldn't fancy that job though 😀👍
Looks really good bud can’t believe you finally have a drummer Dom would be so proud of you. Could you provide a link as to where to get rules please.
Thank you! I've already painted a French Napoleonic drummer but I much prefer the Skaven one 😅 Link to the rules is below 👍

Thay look great fantastic job love the heads brilliant 💀💀💀
Thank you! I have quite a few skulls left over from a Warlords of Erehwon project and thought they'd look pretty cool 😀👍

Absolutely beautiful work mate,2questions where did you get the skulls and where are the tufts from?
Cheers Justin, much appreciated mate! No worries, the skulls are from a box that Warlord Games sells called Children of the Hydra's teeth and the tufts are all from the big tuft box by Warpainter 😀👍
@@OnPointHQ cheers mate
Where did you get those skulls again? I couldn't quite make it out in the video and I'd love to bash them onto my Perrys.
The skulls come from a box by Warlord Games called Children of the Hydra's teeth. It's part of the Warlords of Erehwon range 🙂
Is their a tactical advantage to multi-basing units (your brutes) or is it just an aesthetic choice?
No, it's purely an aesthetic thing. I was actually intending to single base the figures in this regiment as opposed to multibasing but changed my mind at the last minute 😃
Love the Stump Gun. Horrible and gross. Well done sir
Cheers Sean! I really enjoyed putting the Stump Gun together. I didn't really have any plans on how I wanted it to look so just kept adding stuff until it ended up looking like that 😃👍
Stupid question but do i have to choose a cult? It says "may" choose a cult.
No, you're absolutely right! You don't need to take a cult at all 😀👍
Fantastic stuff, not my cup of tea but great moldering with brill animation, nice video again👏 🎲
Thanks John, much appreciated! Turnip28 certainly isn't to everyone's taste but something I always enjoy 😀👍
Some ... er.. nice(?) Looking figures
Cheers Cal! I'm not sure many people would call them nice but they have a certain charm 😅

That sounds awesome dude, I'm pretty sure I'll be available that weekend! If you could reserve me a ticket, that would be brilliant thank you 😃👊
More Turnip stuff please!!
There's definitely going to be more Turnip28 content on the way 😃
how about a Turnip28 / Warhammer 40K mashup?
Fantastic idea and one that I've been thinking about recently. I have a few 30k Space Marines in the stash that may be getting the Turnip28 treatment in the near future 😃👍
