- The Humiliator comes in 2 distinct styles the Troll Bunny and the Juggernaut. With a raid cost of 85 rockets (if you know the best path) but most will lose 100 rockets at least on this base which is designed to humiliate raiders.

Make sure you put up at least 3 externals there are plenty of designs on youtube or you may have a favourite that you always use, Also you can place a vendy over the TC room early in the build to keep it safe just keep the back wall clear of honeycomb until you can armour those 2 walls behind TC
Rust Raiders: lol triangles this one gets raided first! (I eco raid my starter base and build it to look like something out of Quake.)
Loot Hoarders: Vending machine yet only solo, and he's offline.
Roof Campers: A legit sniper tower wtf lets shoot at it.
Fresh Spawns: Bunny landmark on map hmm which way do I go?
TrapBase Guy: Where is everyone and was that boom one of my traps?
Nuclear Ghandi: I never fight, but I see my neighbor with that trapbase heading out and I'm about to bust in his main base.
Aggro the first two groups and you initiate a raid, but publicize it to the second two and it becomes a combat zone then the whole damn server follows including the guy just sitting there afk. The devil's number is 6, and there are 9 situations to the art of war. And that is why you never see such a cursed base design on the PvP servers.
so i raided this base and it actually was not that difficult and once i had tc i could place it on the roof of the pyramid which allowed me to seal the base. and they also could not defend it maybe it was their first time living in it im not sure but id recommend making free hand bunkered externals to hide gp and sulfer or whatever
That stuff is about to be patched out of existence in the 9 years I have been playing the only thing they let us keep is the stability bunker and I have seen 100s of exploit's get wiped out by Facepunch in that time
@@maverick1484 i still believe your base The Hornet (blister peak version) has been the most difficult to raid online and offline. and ive lived in it defended raids and also raided it. i find that base a lot harder to raid for the size of it. funny enough the Spanish seem to love your base designs as i play on a Spanish server and see a lot of people using your designs like this and the defendable farm.
I have a question about the 4-triangle half-wall stability bunker. Is that a "Maverick special" or some ancient lost Rust knowledge as it is quite a good bunker I haven't seen before and it's not easy to pop open a 10-year-old game and make a new bunker out of the oldest building blocks in the game without even relying on patch changes.

Ive build this as a solo 3 times now on 3 wipes! Its been absolutely amazing! Ive had a few attempted online raids on it and have been able to efficiently patch and defend.
Quick tips and improvements that I have done to the base.
1. In each storage room, before placing the vending machine put down at the back a shotgun trap. If the Vendy gets taken out there will be an extra line of defence.
2. On the first floor, cover the whole floor with double doors/ garages, it increases raid costs. plus confuses potential raiders who have made it in that deep
3. Make a bedroom on each floor, when you have closed off the bunker, if you ever are getting online raided, to prevent you having to break the wooden foundation which opens the whole base up, having beds with lockers will mean you can defend whilst the bunkers are active!
4. Protect your roof, I would suggest making it HQM, when youre offline, that's what most people blow into first thinking its the easiest access. If you dont want to HQM then make sure theres turrets covering

I built this with some buds a few wipes ago and it was insane, had two separate groups attempt to raid.. one gave up when they saw what they were up against and the other failed to get deep. Humiliated and embarrassed. Love the bases

top down is probably best, but any path you chose will cost alot in this beast. If roofs not armored in center , then top down is probably easiest. But i bet it will still cost so much boom 😂 from top down you directly open all 3 core loot room, but you will still need so much boom to finish all rooms 😂

Man if this existed back in the day I would have got my group to construct 3 of these in a triangle formation, connected the tops with sky bridges and compounded it.
This is a really good design! It's very similar to my own solo/duo base, but yours has an additional layer of honeycomb and overall larger. I used to play to get raided, to see people's reaction to this kind of design. Im outdated now, but one tip; if the triangle roof spash bug is still in the game, its important to attach them to the outer wall for the loot rooms

Just got raided on rustoria EU long by a medium size group. They went through the second floor (above the vending machines) putting a hole right through to the other side. They also broke our 6 external TC's and completely raided our connecting buildings (mini garage, boat garage, transfer building and car garage, plus they took out our starter base nearby. I asked how many rockets they used but they did'nt say. I went with all sheet metal and upgraded every floor with HQ when building this base. This base should be called "good nights rest" because I hardly every got a alarm (broken wall, turret has target etc...) on rust + app. I will definitely use this design again. If I had to guess (I was 15 minutes late to the party) I bet they used +100 rockets, 1.5 rounds of mlrs (2nd volley seemed light) and 1 stack of C4 plus and probably around ~12 stacks explosive ammo. They did a direct assault on the TC, but on the other vending machines they took off the floor above to reach the boxes, the top floor was raided last. They got into every room but I don't think they profited from us, I think we had 30 rockets in storage and mats for 40 more. cheers

This base design is the reason i am hyped to start rust up in the first time since 3 years
So I set out to build this solo on vanilla for force wipe. First of all I love the build, great creativity in this one Maverick. ONE BIG PIECE OF ADVICE WHICH I SUPPOSE SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING BUT.. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON A VERY FLAT AREA TO BUILD THIS. If the foundations aren't all the same height, it screws you on placing the roof triangles. I got like 3/4 of the way through the build and realized the couple spots I had to put raised foundations were going to scuff all my work. When you're loaded and trying to get a starter down it can be easy to overlook exactly how much flat space you need for this footprint. I'm currently winging it and trying to figure out a way to finish but I think I'm hosed for this month's wipe. Don't do what I did! Find a good sized flat area to lay this down or you will have headaches.

Wow, Ive been doing this with a "weird 2x1" triangle in the middle with 3 squares off it and it's always been a b***h to move around in it. Surrounding the circle of triangles with the rooms really cleans it up thanks man!

Love your designs Mav! But this has to be a new favourite. As a solo I spend most of my time in the security of my 5 bunker cave design but I am definitely going to swap the darkness for the light next wipe. And the fact I can make it an evil bunny and shout Monty python quotes at door campers takes the base to epic status!!

I am usually highly against using UA-cam base designs in our Rust wipes, although this design looks flawless, and really interesting. I also appreciate the fact that you didn’t show the direct path to all the loot rooms. I will be using this in our next wipe for sure!

Used this base in a biweekly server as a solo. It was a pain to get down, upkeep wasnt terrible, but i did have one main issue with it: mobility.
Moving around doing stuff was just such a pain. Made everything annoying. Opening and closing ladder hatches constantly, crouching and jumping all the time. The concept is insanely cool, but it just felt impractical
I don't have any trouble myself but that may be a product of my 12k hours. I haven't had any comments saying it is hard to move around in, I guess its what your used to I mean if you been using meta builds which are for beginners to get a grip on the game then this would seem hard by comparison.
PLEASE come out with more bases I’ve lived in the redoubt and this here Humiliator. Unbelievable designs and unlike any other bases.

My Trio just completed the bare build in about 36 hours so far on Rustoria EU Long, so far its hard to farm for (edit) get it started before raided, I recommend putting vending machines in right away as we did, in our case a tug boat showed in early stages of build with 4-5 players, took out the sheet metal door to TC and must not have had enough to take out the vending machine. My starter base has been raided 3 times. This base is a lot to farm for, I opted for mostly sheet metal to keep upkeep simple. Since the ladder trap is tucked inside, and another commenter said they did not have enough time to seal the base when online raided, I am thinking about keeping top of base sealed and just use industrial conveyor outside to a box at one of the externals to move stuff in and out. I figure I will pipe it through the shooting floor. Great work, this base seems solid already! I'll see what she can do. Also one last tip, I dont know if FP fixed it but if you place neon signs, say in front of a open window frame, bullets will not pass through, you can use it to see out and leave a gap on the side where you can shoot when ready. If you turn it on its like a one way mirror.

Built this just to watch them struggle to raid it. Despawned all my loot while they ran back and forth to get more boom. Love it!

I think this is the most perfect base I've seen for the solo only no BP wipe monthly that I play. Everyone as rockets since day 1 so basically destroy a sheet honneycomb and armored wall to get to the core is no big deal. the disgusting ammount of honneycomb is perfect,I just need to adapt it to get a minicopter garage on top but I don't think it will be a problem.
I'm sure it will fit fine if you don't put the ears on
I love this build, i just wish there was a way to make it more practical, especially for a solo, the "starter" is a 1 door raid for a long time as getting the first bunker down doesn't provide protection until you have the second bunker down, which almost requires the full base. Deff easily as a group build progression from a 2x2 but still really cool and I want to try it solo one day.

Hi Maverick this design is so cool. I love it. I struggle to find the best way to progres de base before the end. I mean, there are some provisional things I can do before I end the base to keep the loot "safe"?
You can put a double door frame in front of the TC instead of a window frame this will give an extra door to TC in the early stages and can still be used after a vendy is placed.

This looks insanely chunky. Closest thing to a cave base on the surface. Incorporating some tesla coils on the outside and maybe some external TCs with door controller turrets for clearing campers outside would be a cool addition.

We built this today on Rustoria 3x, and although we were online we were not able to seal the bunkers quickly enough (this is on us, not the base design) when a duo came to raid. So the ladder hatch in the "neck" was accessible, so they used C4 to blow that out, and the armoured double door after, then it was more or less straight down through ladder hatches all the way down. They did end losing the raid because they blew themselves up, but came all the day down to bottom level. So plenty of shotgun traps and turrets would have helped. But we rebuilt and sealed (with triple bunker). Hopefully it will survive the night as we go offline :p

Ive watched a few people raid these and noticed one incen rocket up top means its almost impossible to defend. Im going to build multi TC with bedroom towers attached for defense and then i rekon it would be perfect. One last thing, make sure boxes are locked behind vending machine bunkers!

I absolutely love this design but I will say that you actually can change quite a few things with this base. I even added a bunker to the first floor and completely changed second floor

Fun to build, though.
Half wall and then straight to the bottom... it's 1 halfwall, hatch, armored, hatch, armored, hatch, armored door, vending machine, HQM window, TC.
Then what go back to base and leave all the 15 rocket loot rooms full of loot or raid the externals? If you don't seal up I will come back online and replace the TC using all the stuff you left in my loot rooms. Half a job my friend!
@@maverick1484 ofc not, but it's misleading. People usually say how many rockets are needed to the TC, not to loot all the loot rooms...
@@kedalin 🤔I did see this before on Rust Academy were on 10X they just raid the TC because it can fit 3 million sulphur in it. Th e most I play is a 2x and it takes till the next day before the base starts to decay (Destroying TC puts 24hrs upkeep into the build) So I don't know what you are doing just talking about TC there's never any loot in there and I'm guessing you just leave the opened up base to the server to pick away at as the loot rooms decay? then you come back hopefully when it is decayed and hope its not empty is that what you are saying? I raid the whole base like everyone else not just get TC and run back to my own base. That's not even something I have ever heard of in my 9 years playing this except for on Rust Academy.
Not gonna go too deep on this. You're not reading what I'm saying and your conclusions are all wrong.
What I'm saying is that when people write how many rockets a base can take, the main indicator is how many it takes to get to TC.
Not loot rooms.
If I wanna take out my neighbours TC without taking a single thing from him, that's up to me. The main indicator of how sturdy a base is is, was, and will always be how much sulphur or rockets you need to get to TC.
Not claim the base. Blow up the TC.
Check aloneintokyos base designs, Willjums, and many more...
@@kedalin Trouble is you are looking at my designs like they are meta. Now if I used a low IQ noob base that meta bases are the TC would be in exactly the same spot every time and a raid cost can be calculated. How do you even calculate raid cost to TC when it could be anywhere with no visible references outside to help? I appreciate you are old school but quit the meta and quit thinking like a meta player its for noobs, TC in the middle of the base every time I mean come on its so basic even a noob can raid the best meta bases and still find TC.

Was looking for designs picking random stuff and had to sub instantly since i recognyzed this base from an random i teamed with (we had a black rabbit version of it tho), offline attempts were 5 by the end of wipe, only stuff we lost were the first two floors from the top, no one actually reached for any of the bottom bunkers, fun fact, our booms were hidden inside our 6 externals.....lol.

I'm newer to rust but this is by fair the best base I've seen on youtube. I was wondering what you HQ the ceiling triangles in the bunkers for and not the rest of the ceiling. Also hoping it doesn't screw up my base to much, because I forgot that part in 2 of the bunkers. lol
If they come top down and start blasting the core and splashing all around then that triangle gets exposed after taking one wall inside covering it. Its still a high raid cost even if you did forget!
I made my own version of this. It’s a crazy build. Added on a lot of can’t really mess with anything you made. I just added some towers to each side. The towers connect to the main base and if you put a turret on the shooting floor it should cover your peak on the tower. I know I’m not explaining this well but I did find a pretty cool add on to this.
Sounds good! this base is lacking a bit in defensibility so those towers will do the job.
just built this today, put a windmill on top of the bunny and used some pipes to convert one of the chests in the TC room to a surplus TC box. Now I can dissapear for a few days without worrying about decay!

Although this base looks super beefy, saving up for 35k frag without getting raided overnight is the hardest challenge. Farmed all day to take a hour brake n everything was raided.. 2nd day attempting😭😂

While I was building this, I noticed that the last layer of honeycomb (triangle roofs) was decaying. How do I fix?
They link to the metal roofs on the level above so if you haven't got those in place then you will get decay.

I got to the shooting flooor and sealed myself out. Forgot to a triangle on top. Had to make four rockets to get back in.
I know you said not to tinker with it... but
I have found using the core honeycomb to place a battery locker, and 3 furnaces behind Windows doesn't compromise the build.

Nice! You can upgrade to metal were its stone to give a higher raid cost but you cant really add more layers.
sick design, would probably use it as a flank base as I normally play monthly quad and this would definetly not fit the 4 of us inside it. I would love a vid on a bigger base, for a bigger group, that would be a pain to offline (since the playerbase is too dedicated to offlining rn) :D also, having some smartly placed spots for turrets would be insane on these types of bases.

is there a reason why there are no pixel bunkers in your build? it woud be even more crazy to have some of them scattert arround in this monster.
I don't cheat so I don't use use hacks or glitches, a pixel gap is an exploit that comes under the category of glitching. Because it is a glitch Facepunch will patch it soon anyway. They have already made it so you can spear out the box through the gap and the loot bag jumps out of the loot room so only a certain pixel gap works for the time being.
woud be a solid statement.... but you use the vending machine for the same thing. you create a pixel gap with a game mechanic, its almost the same as a pixel gap. a bit of a hypocrite thing to say. but you do you. ✌

I use a twig floor and furnaces in the triangle hole to get up until I have ladder BP.

@@S6T6NS_N6TION Stone roofs have an overhang that you cannot pass through, so if there is one overhanging a ladder hatch it blocks it. You can either make the roof metal or use a stone skin this will then allow you to go through the hatch

What causes the biker entrance to place when the half wall is missing
Maybe I missed something in the video, but it seems like the cheapest possible raid path would be:
8 c4 blowing through the sheet roof 1 level above tc, then a sheet wall, exposing the ceiling to tc.
It's a nice design in parts, but I don't see how the 85 rocket raid cost isn't highly exaggerated.
It seems like the surface of the roof honeycomb is a blind spot for your entire shooting floor.
besides the ladder hatch grenade on one of 6 sides, you can't get any angle on door campers.
Given the size of footprint you have to make sure the external tc coverage also reaches the top of the base
otherwise the externals are useless as raiders would be able to place a new tc high up, once main tc is destroyed.
Another thing is your way of leaving but especially entering that base leaves you very exposed.
Would be easy to hold that for enemies even, from the outside of a potential compound.
What about "elevator" towers with a sky walk towards the shooting floor coming of exteral tcs?
3 of these would solve most issues I mentioned.
Additionaly, upgrading the 3 triangle loot rooms outside walls and ceilings to hqm,
would also increase the minimum raid cost to 37 rockets instead of 29.
Please don't raid cost my bases in the meta way. Meta bases are simple designs that always have the TC in the same place with a front and a back to the base and an obvious and easy raid path to follow so of course a simple raid cost system accompanies this meta. This is not a meta base it is the next level, you have no obvious raid path its left to chance for the raider and sods law says it will always be the last side you raid that has the TC. Hell when I'm stood outside this base having just built it even I don't know which side TC is on. Thanks for the backhanded compliment of the base "is nice in parts" lol. Its a solo base it will have downsides like all solo bases. I mean you got your work cut for you if your going around poking holes in solo base designs on UA-cam. or is this just special treatment for me!

So it actually being 29 was a honestly a let down.
Well the base is nice in parts, but also has several flaws as I pointed out, including possible fixes.
Agree on a lot YT bases being horrible. Yours isn't. No reason to compare yourself to the horrible ones ;)
@@Milo-il9qc I have also had this reaction before with 10x players like rust academy they focus on the TC because all the sulphur is stored in it but these are vanilla designs were destroying TC just puts 24 hours upkeep into the base then externals take over building priv.

A stupid question: I've just built this base on a live wipe and it worked great. That is until I logged in today and found out that the roof conditional bunker is bricked. When I remove the twig, the roof goes down to 15% stability and doesn't collapse.
I've tried replicating this in Fortify and I can get all the stabilities to match except for that single piece of roof.
Any idea what may have caused it? I'm solo loving near Miltuns, so pickaxing that metal roof from outside won't happen. I'd have to softside a triangle floor and the halfwall underneath it...
I am positive it used to work, but maybe I have placed something inadvertently, like a triangle through wall or something.

Everytime I knock out the bunker, the triangle roof foundation disappears also
How are you losing a foundation? You cannot effect stability in a downwards direction on to a foundation!
This build is fantastic! Is there any way you know of to make it one row of platform bigger giving some more space inside? I usually play a 2 duo and would love for it to take even more rockets and a little more space.
