It was quite popular on TBS for a few years but then the whole Jay Leno/Conan O'Brien thing happened and when TBS picked up Conan's show they moved George Lopez to a different time slot and gave the original one to Conan which I thought was a dick move because that's what was causing the controversy at between him and Leno and NBC. As expected Lopez Tonight didn't do well in the new time slot and was cancelled a few years later.

Don’t know what the hell is happening to him on this current tour going on now…..he was humping the stage floor, stumbling, sounding like Elmo, not even singing. I hope he’s ok. Don’t know what the hell is happening to him
The whole 'sounding like' Elmo criticism is dumb. The part of the actual song is supposed to be high pitched, he even does it in this performance. The humping the floor thing is a cringe dance movie but it's a bit of fun, it's not indicative of anything other than him always being an awkward mover. Why are we surprised a guy who is nearly 50 does some dad dancing. The whole 'he doesn't even sing' is the most perplexing. Have people been to pop concerts before. Performers get the audience to sing along to their most famous ballad all the type. It's something to hype the crowd. Not indicative of anything being wrong with the performer.
