All of these points are great! I definitely loved Brickhouse, Redox, MD, Arachnos and a couple of other mechs, and even though they had some unfortunate flaws, like low movement speed and low ability damage, the idea of the mechs was so cool. Because of the recent updates, however, other mechs have become virtually flawless and God-like, making these mechs unplayable. All of these changes are a great idea to fix these problems and I fully support this video. Hopefully Mech Arena Devs listen and implement these changes into the game!🤞
All I want is more speed to Redox, the damage is not useful. The moment you apply the caustic effects the ally sniper bots will kill your opponent. So increasing the slow poison dmg is useless, but a panther kinda speed makes him useful in the game..
Yeah, I've got an idea for that. They should make the amount of rewards you get (weekly, crates etc) scale with your tier (in the upcoming gear hub) so for example if you're in tier 2 you get 200 acoins weekly but if you're in tier 7 you get 1000.

Increase Carbine projectile speed and dmg, increase EM reload (no need to change dmg), and implement a damage falloff for AOE (for DL). These, along with the 1st and 3rd ones mentioned in the vid are the only things I believe are really necessary (balancing early game is nice, but so long as the tier above is still stronger, it ultimately doesn't matter since players aren't in that stage for long. For that reason, I'd say we need another healer more than an MD buff)

Honestly, my problem isn’t so much the game balancing of weapons and mechs (although I do acknowledge and agree that it is a glaring problem in the game). My problem with Mech Arena is that I almost never get matched up with players. I absolutely love the idea of the combat between mechs that have cool abilities and weapons, that there’s strategy involved, and the thrill of the battle, but because I constantly get paired with bots, the concept does not become the reality. Bots are dumb, boring and repetitive, and even though there’s a variety of maps and mechs in the game, with no players, the game gets mind-numbingly boring. It’s all the same thing, and battles don’t feel like intense fights anymore, you just log into the game, hop into a battle, and go through the motions again. This is what stopped me from playing the game after a while, so I no longer become a bot myself, following an algorithm over and over again. The only way I can play with other people is to invite players into a squad, but even so, with a full lineup of players on one team, the other team is STILL ALL BOTS! I wish Plarium would do something about this, and of course, I recognize that this is a difficult thing to fix, I don’t even know how I would fix this, especially with the match making system the devs are working on, but I really hope that this is on Plarium’s to-do list, as it has turned many players away from the game as well. For the love of God, I JUST WANT PEOPLE! Anyways, sorry for the rant, great video Ganster! I completely agree with all these balancing points. I would add this non-player problem as the 23rd item to fix, but maybe that’s just me. Keep up the good work Jabs!
Yeah, it would be a dream come true for every match to be against players. I would love that, but unfortunately you need to join customs to do that. I hope they remove the bots from the game

A lot of the low level stuff buffs don't make sense on the early levels stage of mech arena. I do agree with the EMs (and thanks for the math) Buff tanks HP is one you forgot to add.
I can see why you said that. My thought process is that Arachnos is a rare mech for example. Although you get him early on, he's supposed to be much stronger than the other common and uncommon mechs. So he should at least be usable mid game as well, right?
I'm playing a lot with my baby account (800-1000sp) recently, while Puma is a heap of trash the slingshot performs admirably. Arachnos turret unfortunately does rather good as well (it's encouraged to avoid it). Zephyr stun is okayish as in that it gives opponents a chance to retaliate, much like Surge ability in endgame. I run Gauss 6s and it's one of the best weapons in my arsenal (after missile racks)
The meta is still really similar to the last meta. The video wouldn't be that much different. I'll wait till it changes a bit and I'll make the video. I have other video ideas I want to make
Redox needs 50% Ability Range implant so that he can apply a 6sec Stasis at 45m. Similar to Zeph and Guardian that would be a huge balance changer for redox. Not just an increase to his ability damage. Radius increase to MD is a good idea but the heal itself is still too weak. Possibly change the heal to a percentage based heal rather than one that does base value. Plarium will probably just release a new mech, legendary version of MD before they ever fix him unfortunately. 100% Agree with raising Zeph stun to 4 sec. He went from King of stun to king of none. Gauss Rifles were so much fun, I wish they'd release a Gauss Rifle 12 version. Nade Launcher needs a Radius increase, splash is way to low at 4.5 esp for being in a category called "Barrage Weapon". Carbines also need double damage chance increased.10% is too low and Carbine will be replaced by Chain Gun that has Better Optimal range more ammo per clip Higher Dps and Higher double damage chance at 25%. Bro, Fusion Cannon perk says "Onslaught" but the fire rate is only 600!! Many other weapons have the same fire rate no greater than 600! I'd love to see this weapon's fire rate increased to something like 800-1000. That would make Fusion cannon unique but right now the Perk is useless and this weapon is just bloat. As for the optimal range implant, its not a bug, the implant is functioning as intended. This also applies to other weapons with limited optimal ranges such as Mortars, longarms etc. The range implant is doing what is suppose to do, Improve the Range of a weapon that includes "Optimal Ranges" since that is part of a weapons range. If range implants did not improve the optimal range on snipers as well it would make the implant useless because you will almost never need to fire on targets that are 200+ meters. The situation for it is really rare and there are so many obstacles and the target is really small at the distance making it really easy to miss. I agree with lowering the falloff damage of EM's but the optimal for the range implant should stay the same.
Wow! These are some amazing suggestions! Yeah, a range implant would definitely make Redox much better. But they would have to release a legendary range implant. It wouldn't make sense for an epic range implant to increase the range as much as other range Implants that are legendary
I agree with all your suggestions. You're right about the EM range implant being intentional. I just figured out that the CMs confirmed that it's as intended
Here are my ideas for redox: 1. 20% more health 2. 100% more ability damage 3. Ability rework: before the corrosion, there is an initial blast which deals damage to the enemy the closer they are. 30m radius but 45m with implants. 4. Speed boost: 19-21 km. This may come off as OP, but surge got a massive boost too and redox is a *LEGENDARY* mech

a 5-second stun for zephyr may make sense, it would give a reason to use zephyr over surge. killshot is faster, so it has that pro, but there isn't a reason to use zephyr over surge.
What the devs really need to change are: Being able to get credits and a-coins for every battle u win or lose Being able to get fortune keys in crates Being able to sell useless blueprints for credits No EXP limit These changes (especially the 1st one) would be extremely helpful for f2p players like me. I dont understand why they wont give resources for battles u win. At least around 10k - 25k credits and 50 - 150 a-coins should suffice

half of my friends list, and 6 or 7 people from clan have bailed cause the game has gone so far down.....cheating in every tourney gets rewarded is one of the worst offenses that go completely un dealt with....the list is huge, sucks to a have a company with such a great potential that is so out of touch with their community...
Make it possible to build / unlock a weapon / mech / pilot when you get 200 bps for common, 300 for rare, 400 for epic, 500 for legendary mech or weapons...... 2000 pilot marks for rare 3000 for an epic or 5000 for legendary pilots

Well that's why you can use a lot of scout mechs in your hangar. Surge and Eclipse are super meta mechs and do amazing against mortars. Killshot and Redeemer are also really good against mortars. Sp if you have 3 scout mechs in your hangar, only 2 of your mechs will struggle against mortars. And Bastion's shield is also really good against mortars. They don't need a nerf

There is no nerfing EMs more Is either they completely remove it from the game or they leave it be or put the sim assist back Just cos EMs are mostly the best way of grinding now against maxed bots for f2p And it’s basically 1v5 or 1v10 situation we find ourselves in so its either they remove it or buff or leave it as it is Cos even the bots still use EMs and they don’t follow that damage fall off rule.
Why do you need to remove a weapon from the game? If it's too strong, nerf it. If it's too weak, buff it. And if it's fine, then keep it. The EMs are slightly overpowered, so I think they should nerf them a bit
I wouldnot have a problem adding a Fortnite-style spectator mode or make matches replayable. But letting players spectate their friends live from third person perspective as the matches happen would be a disaster. It would lead to rampant abuse of the feature as soon as players realized they could have a friend make literal God level callouts via Discord

Another thing which is going to be a very major change: remove em 8. If players have it, they should get 3k acoins or em10 or something. Em8 is what allows people to have 3 em builds.

here one more, they should make tengu more healthy, like 170k at max.., so it can do one to one fights with other scouts like before....., stalker doesnt need any buff cuz hes now glass canon
Good suggestions. I think your best move would be to encourage plarium to make these changes in a test server and get more feedback from everyone who has access to it. Another change would be to make it so that it is not possible to get blueprints for already maxed weapons and mechs.
They ain't doing sh*t sadly, this game is simply a cash generator at this point, they could've redeemed themselves with the Playoff events, the crate rush events, the rank upgrade and now the gear hub. Nothing of those was a good addition, playoffs are influenced by if you have the most recently released gun/mech, if you don't have that you need to spend a lot of resources to get 2 or 3 implants and that's all. Crate Rush events give 1 or sometimes 0 tokens, the only exception are skin crate rushes, but nobody cares about that. Rank upgrade made good mechs even better, good weapons even stronger and shitty things... Even worse. Now the gear hub seems fine, but i dare you they're going to screw that up and force everyone to spend 10k coins for a single EM Rifle. This game is dead for me

Hmm interesting. I like making tournament for pilot rewards. Removing the EM 16 and 8 won't go well with players. Aegis doesn't need a buff, he's pretty strong. Buffing Guardian is a bad idea because he's a rare mech. He's already too strong for a rare mech. If they want to make him stronger, they need to make him an epic mech
Well, Yea.. hes strong for a rare mech thats why i suggested the step up in rareity,(swapping onyx and guardian on progress path, that means onyx becomes rare and guardian becomes legendary) since its already pretty much better than all the legendary e32 mechs. Aegis doesnt need a buff but more options for healing would be a nice addition to the game, its more than just an aegus buff. And i said all but fhe 16 and 8, not the 16 and 8. Its fhe em spam that is too much, not necessarily the weapon itself being overpowered

They need to change their bot I get 1 hit by their bots far too often, plus they hide how powerful their weapons are. I have been hit by em 10 and blown away try that with your bot and nothing happens to them.
Shadow should be more acessable to players :#1 - lower the high price to increase energy level . #2- increase hp . Also decrease a.i. bot's level of power , way over powered ! Restrict experienced players ability to decrease xp / squad rate to play against lower rated players ! (cheating)

Na, the EM 12s still deal 160k damage at point blank range if both crit. And the EM 16s still deal 210k at point blank range if both crit. 210k is enough to one-shot a lot of the mechs in the game. They are too strong at close range
The EMs are still the most OP weapon in the game after the nerf. They still need some type of nerf to be balanced. People are using three sets of EM builds still. Nerfing them slightly will allow the railguns to be as good as them

Why not? The game is definitely not balanced with three weapons running the show with the meta. The EMs, discs, and rails. People barely use any other weapons because they are so much stronger than all the other weapons. For a balanced game, other weapons have to be viable as well
Bro. Why you hate em rifles. Disc are way op from medium and close range. All you do is preach anti em rifles. You say nothing about disc that can one sht any mech due to back shots and side shots. To me....disc rifles are ruining the game because they are one shooting everything.
Also. Top tier hangers have nothing but disc launchers and maybe 1 set of em rifles. Em rifles got nerfed. Disc rifles are still way more op than EM rifles. They are the strongest weapons in the game now and need to be balanced.
I don't hate EMs, I use three sets of them in my hangar. What I don't like is that they still one-shot enemies at close range. I think that needs to be changed and they'll be balanced. EMs are still the best weapon in the game. Disc launchers rely on walls to get back damage, and you can avoid their splash of you're a skilled player. It's difficult to splash players that are skilled because they'll avoid most walls and roofs. EMs on the other hand are still difficult to deal with. They'll one-shot you even if you barely go out in the open. And they have such a fast reload that you can spam them. Everyone still has at least two sets of EMs in their hangar. But most players do have two sets of disks, so you're right. It's close between them but EMs are better. Discs don't need to be nerfed because they require a ton of skill to be effective. EMs can be OP even if you're not that skilled

Well it doesn't hurt you to remove it. If you don't want to play more than 10 battles, then you don't have to. If you do, then this change will benefit you

Redox needs 50% Ability Range implant so that he can apply a 6sec Stasis at 45m. Similar to Zeph and Guardian that would be a huge balance changer for redox. Not just an increase to his ability damage.
Radius increase to MD is a good idea but the heal itself is still too weak. Possibly change the heal to a percentage based heal rather than one that does base value. Plarium will probably just release a new mech, legendary version of MD before they ever fix him unfortunately.
100% Agree with raising Zeph stun to 4 sec. He went from King of stun to king of none.
Gauss Rifles were so much fun, I wish they'd release a Gauss Rifle 12 version.
Nade Launcher needs a Radius increase, splash is way to low at 4.5 esp for being in a category called "Barrage Weapon".
Carbines also need double damage chance increased.10% is too low and Carbine will be replaced by Chain Gun that has Better Optimal range more ammo per clip Higher Dps and Higher double damage chance at 25%.
Bro, Fusion Cannon perk says "Onslaught" but the fire rate is only 600!! Many other weapons have the same fire rate no greater than 600! I'd love to see this weapon's fire rate increased to something like 800-1000. That would make Fusion cannon unique but right now the Perk is useless and this weapon is just bloat.
As for the optimal range implant, its not a bug, the implant is functioning as intended. This also applies to other weapons with limited optimal ranges such as Mortars, longarms etc. The range implant is doing what is suppose to do, Improve the Range of a weapon that includes "Optimal Ranges" since that is part of a weapons range. If range implants did not improve the optimal range on snipers as well it would make the implant useless because you will almost never need to fire on targets that are 200+ meters. The situation for it is really rare and there are so many obstacles and the target is really small at the distance making it really easy to miss. I agree with lowering the falloff damage of EM's but the optimal for the range implant should stay the same.
Wow! These are some amazing suggestions! Yeah, a range implant would definitely make Redox much better. But they would have to release a legendary range implant. It wouldn't make sense for an epic range implant to increase the range as much as other range Implants that are legendary
I agree with all your suggestions. You're right about the EM range implant being intentional. I just figured out that the CMs confirmed that it's as intended
They also need to buff giardoan since the grade upgrade did him dirty. They should make him an epic mech and increase his system crash range and speed

Here are my ideas for redox:
1. 20% more health
2. 100% more ability damage
3. Ability rework: before the corrosion, there is an initial blast which deals damage to the enemy the closer they are. 30m radius but 45m with implants.
4. Speed boost: 19-21 km.
This may come off as OP, but surge got a massive boost too and redox is a *LEGENDARY* mech

a 5-second stun for zephyr may make sense, it would give a reason to use zephyr over surge. killshot is faster, so it has that pro, but there isn't a reason to use zephyr over surge.

What the devs really need to change are:
Being able to get credits and a-coins for every battle u win or lose
Being able to get fortune keys in crates
Being able to sell useless blueprints for credits
No EXP limit
These changes (especially the 1st one) would be extremely helpful for f2p players like me. I dont understand why they wont give resources for battles u win. At least around 10k - 25k credits and 50 - 150 a-coins should suffice

half of my friends list, and 6 or 7 people from clan have bailed cause the game has gone so far down.....cheating in every tourney gets rewarded is one of the worst offenses that go completely un dealt with....the list is huge, sucks to a have a company with such a great potential that is so out of touch with their community...

Make it possible to build / unlock a weapon / mech / pilot when you get 200 bps for common, 300 for rare, 400 for epic, 500 for legendary mech or weapons...... 2000 pilot marks for rare 3000 for an epic or 5000 for legendary pilots

Well that's why you can use a lot of scout mechs in your hangar. Surge and Eclipse are super meta mechs and do amazing against mortars. Killshot and Redeemer are also really good against mortars. Sp if you have 3 scout mechs in your hangar, only 2 of your mechs will struggle against mortars. And Bastion's shield is also really good against mortars. They don't need a nerf

The devs have given mortars a cake and let them eat it it should be inescapable by slower mechs and do little dmg or be escapable but have little aoe

I wouldnot have a problem adding a Fortnite-style spectator mode or make matches replayable. But letting players spectate their friends live from third person perspective as the matches happen would be a disaster. It would lead to rampant abuse of the feature as soon as players realized they could have a friend make literal God level callouts via Discord

Good suggestions. I think your best move would be to encourage plarium to make these changes in a test server and get more feedback from everyone who has access to it.
Another change would be to make it so that it is not possible to get blueprints for already maxed weapons and mechs.

They ain't doing sh*t sadly, this game is simply a cash generator at this point, they could've redeemed themselves with the Playoff events, the crate rush events, the rank upgrade and now the gear hub. Nothing of those was a good addition, playoffs are influenced by if you have the most recently released gun/mech, if you don't have that you need to spend a lot of resources to get 2 or 3 implants and that's all. Crate Rush events give 1 or sometimes 0 tokens, the only exception are skin crate rushes, but nobody cares about that. Rank upgrade made good mechs even better, good weapons even stronger and shitty things... Even worse. Now the gear hub seems fine, but i dare you they're going to screw that up and force everyone to spend 10k coins for a single EM Rifle. This game is dead for me
If they give us the test server a week before the update. Even if we give feedback, they won't have enough time to implement the changes

Remove all em rifles except the 16 and 8, and return the old double damage chance and auto aim ability to the 16 only.
Add healing to aegis dome
Swap onyx and guardian on new progress path and Increase system crash natural range by 33 percentage, natural cooldown to 12 seconds
Release new legendary artilery weapon
Add nostalia mode with old maps, weapon designs and old health pools and damage stats. No pilots
Make tournamnet for pilot rescources
Hmm interesting. I like making tournament for pilot rewards. Removing the EM 16 and 8 won't go well with players. Aegis doesn't need a buff, he's pretty strong. Buffing Guardian is a bad idea because he's a rare mech. He's already too strong for a rare mech. If they want to make him stronger, they need to make him an epic mech
Well, Yea.. hes strong for a rare mech thats why i suggested the step up in rareity,(swapping onyx and guardian on progress path, that means onyx becomes rare and guardian becomes legendary) since its already pretty much better than all the legendary e32 mechs. Aegis doesnt need a buff but more options for healing would be a nice addition to the game, its more than just an aegus buff. And i said all but fhe 16 and 8, not the 16 and 8. Its fhe em spam that is too much, not necessarily the weapon itself being overpowered

They need to change their bot I get 1 hit by their bots far too often, plus they hide how powerful their weapons are. I have been hit by em 10 and blown away try that with your bot and nothing happens to them.

Na, the EM 12s still deal 160k damage at point blank range if both crit. And the EM 16s still deal 210k at point blank range if both crit. 210k is enough to one-shot a lot of the mechs in the game. They are too strong at close range

Well maybe if one of their official CCs makes a video about it, they'll listen. We can just hope. I've experienced the Zephyr bug, and I'm pretty sure it's just ping. Since your ping is bad, your Zephyr stun doesn't register, and it doesn't stun them although you have the stun visual on your screen

Bro. Why you hate em rifles. Disc are way op from medium and close range. All you do is preach anti em rifles. You say nothing about disc that can one sht any mech due to back shots and side shots. To me....disc rifles are ruining the game because they are one shooting everything.
Also. Top tier hangers have nothing but disc launchers and maybe 1 set of em rifles. Em rifles got nerfed. Disc rifles are still way more op than EM rifles. They are the strongest weapons in the game now and need to be balanced.
I don't hate EMs, I use three sets of them in my hangar. What I don't like is that they still one-shot enemies at close range. I think that needs to be changed and they'll be balanced. EMs are still the best weapon in the game. Disc launchers rely on walls to get back damage, and you can avoid their splash of you're a skilled player. It's difficult to splash players that are skilled because they'll avoid most walls and roofs. EMs on the other hand are still difficult to deal with. They'll one-shot you even if you barely go out in the open. And they have such a fast reload that you can spam them. Everyone still has at least two sets of EMs in their hangar. But most players do have two sets of disks, so you're right. It's close between them but EMs are better. Discs don't need to be nerfed because they require a ton of skill to be effective. EMs can be OP even if you're not that skilled

You have a point of getting more is beneficial, but sometimes 10 battles aren't enough to get 600 tokens, and I am not gonna play more than that time. Great idea, but implementing it?!
