It’s a skill that’s well worth learning! It may take you a few trips but once you crack the code you will have a lot of fun catching your own fresh/live bait which adds to the whole fishing experience.🍻
@@kevinbrian3244 if I’m going to use them that day or the next morning I’ll keep them in a bucket of sea water (aerator used for over night), if I know I’m not going to use them for 2 days I’ll keep them in a tub of sand and pop them in the fridge. The fridge might kill them in this time frame but kept this way they are in excellent condition even when dead! What I did with this lot of worms is roll them in some sand at the beach and packed them into zip lock bags and put them in the freezer as I knew I wasn’t going to use them any time soon.

Most of the time I will just freeze them down as soon as I get home and they end up being good bait when I need them. I have heard people using various chemicals to “preserve” them which makes them a bit tougher but personally I prefer a natural bait.
Obviously this Guy can't read, the limit for catching and possesing Beach Worms in South Australia is 20, in this video he showed 22 being caught, but I suspect he caught more off Camera. WELL DONE, don't ever blame other's for over fishing
G'day mate I'm loving Ur channel! So helpful and just plain fun to watch. I was at maslins beach this morning. Got there for the last 2 hours of the run out and stayed for just over an hour of the run in. Sadly I didn't even see a single worm, which has never happened before. I'm still pretty new at worming so is there any advice u can give? The low tide was at .7 so maybe it didn't drop enough. There was also a lot of swell. Do worms have seasons or can u catch them all year round? Keep up the good work mate Ur a legend

seems like great fun! apart from going on low tide are there any other weather-related things to look out for when picking a day?
Anything that will help the tide go lower than predicted will help you, ie Off-shore winds will help to push the tide lower and keep the swell down.
