It is great listening to someone who knows all the little differences. Another half hour I can't charge out, THANKS LOL How many years did it take to build your parts inventory? Priceless
so i think this means you are waiting your time watching my videos instead of working? i wish i had that job. still working on the inventory. i will let you know when i am done collecting. tatro
The 2" Kibblewhite intake, and 1.75" Exhaust valves. The first set of racing springs you picked out. Since the set has a full compliment of collars already included, and they probably aren't made anymore, modifying them would make me feel bad. The Rev Tech intake (looks like it has better flow without modification) to be matched to a generous porting of the heads. Set it up for an Andrews "D" grind...if your in the mood. Unfortunately I have a stock-ish (I think) FXS that has had some work done, but I'm not sure what was done (just bought it). It seems a spigot was added to the primary side of the head that is connected by way of rubber hose (brilliant) to spigot in the tappet block. I've never seen this before, and am guessing it is an oil return??? Cylinders have an "SF" cast in to the base...stock? The person I would ask this question to is no longer with us.
yes the lines would be drains. don't know why you would need them on stock cylinders. maybe you go some big big bore cylinders and don't know it. tatro
It was supposed to be an answer for the hex cut heads you were asking what to do with, but thank you for the answer. I figured since the spigots were on the exhaust side of the heads, they were to drain oil to keep the valve area cooler. It does have a dual coil system (green coil, per plug, set-up), and Dyna 2000 ignition (duel fire more then likely), so nothing is known until the heads come off. Kick compression is 30 psi front-60psi rear, so getting in to it seems to be the direction to take. "Sweat equity" is the phrase that comes to mind. Was going to call, but don't want to take up your time when your busy. I know the feeling of distractions while in process.
no throwing anything but i sure wanted too. just a bad day. no big deal, still got the job done. the bars fell off the rack, not that it matter to mister perfect. tatro
it also say transmission rebuild. that is what is going on, not looking at my other bikes. knucklehead and ul trans are the same just like most of the other parts. tatro

@@TatroMachine Got it
i have a harley 1937 inargentina
Anyone who throws tools around and bangs machined faces against a steel bench shows a lack of respect and little mechanical empathy
just wait until i dump the clutch at 7500 rpm and see what happens. go back to the classroom and let the real mechanics work.
