Nice list, I'd add 'Mixing Secrets For The Small Studio' and '74 Creative Strategies for Electronic Music Producers'. Fair point re the overcomplicated diagrams....that's academia for you!
Nice one Will! Nice to hear someone being a little objective for once about the j dilla book 👍 i gotta say , i’m surprised you left out the bible of all mix books; The Mix Engineers Handbook. Maybe it was on purpose, but maybe not and that you werent aware of it, well, now you are and you can all thank me later , whoever might be reading this🙂👍 It is a very technical book, but not a «heavy» read. It is well layed out, covers everything about mixing and also includes interviews with alot of the top tier engineers. Another one for those that wanna go really nerdy with music theory, you have Rick Beato who has a book out which covers everything in the music theory department. He is also on youtube putting out really nice content.
