    I taught a class on making vinyl bags. I brought my hair dryer to the class, and when it was time to turn the bag, I held the hair dryer over the project while the student turned the bag. No problem with wrinkling!!! Worked like a dream. Linda Garmon

    OMW thank you so much. I have a large piece of vinyl outside in the sun right now because I was too scared to iron it, but now that I know I can do it without melting it, I can start my sewing project. Thanks for the help.

    Very helpful. I just made a few bags with vinyl and I dreaded the part where I had to turn them right side out. It made such awful wrinkles and creases in the formerly smooth vinyl. I'm looking forward to trying both of your tips. Thank you for a splendid video.

    Thank you for this tip. I haven't worked with vinyl before and I have a project I want to do. So this has been very helpful. Just as a thought, I'm wondering if putting the vinyl on a heating pad might work also for small projects. It might take some experimenting to see which setting works best though. Just a thought.

    Better idea for an example would have been to use a wrinkled piece of vinyl in the first place. This is supposed to be visual demonstration, isn't it?

    • @NationalSewingCircle
      @NationalSewingCircle  7 років тому

      Hi,
      Yes, you should have no problem beading on vinyl. Ensure you are using good, strong beading thread and a needle stiff enough to pierce the thicker fabric.
      Hope this helps!
      Cheers,
      Ashley

    Full disclosure I am a little distracted watching this video. Mommy multitasking is going on.
    Honestly I can't find where the you say the name of the actual thing you're ironing on is.
    I can't take the risk of ruining this special mat, I'll be written out of the will.
    😆 🤣 😂
