Considering how religious the Bonesplitterz are I really wanna make an army where the leader has the personality of a Christian summer camp counsellor.
The Wurrgog Prophet is such an expressive model for its time, and I really want the opportunity to build and paint my own at some point. I think it'd just really stand out on the tabletop for all sorts of reasons. The Savage Big Boss is also pretty darn cool if only because of its peak physique. Unlike the armored boyz of the Ironjawz or Greenskins, the Bonesplitterz show off their perfectly sculpted muscles, and for as militarily suboptimal it is, it's still a sight to behold.
Wow! The lore for the Bonesplitterz is really awesome. Wonderful stuff here. The models don’t really do it justice though. This is making me really want new Bonesplitterz with Gloomspite quality, Endless Spells, and totally new sculpts. I’d absolutely play that army!
Built my Maniak wierdnob while listening to this :D My fave is also the Wurrgog, because of the mask, but the wardokk got some disco dancing moves going on and if you have several of them close it looks hilarious!
Setting the spirits free from their bones by pyre and prayer after a kill has been made is something very ancient and primal as a theme, it fits the bonesplitters well. the animal the maniak weirdnob releases could be akin to setting the soul of a hunted animal free to become part of the Waaagh energy and Gorkamorka himself. destruction should get more love in AOS's narrative.
3:20 The giant bestial skeletons in the back are so cool, they really turn the themes of the realms to the max. I really wonder what they will do with the light and shadow realm once they start expanding some story there.
What I gotta know is why tf did GW make the Wardok so absolutely caked up? It's like two cantaloupes with a scarf between them. The Hedonites wish they could attain have what he just has been naturally gifted with by Gorkamorka himself. The Wardok *knows* to flaunt what you got.
So im a fresh member of AoS coming from 40k since 2001 and so im building a 2500 points worth of ironjawz with a allied in orruk warboss and want to make an orruk gladiator for the upcoming warcry which I plan of playing the ironjawz in.I was curious for any good ideas for some models or bits to use as a base for this conversion and was also curious if new models are coming for the faction in warcry or just the chaos guys getting new crews for this subgame.
king samulas Hey! The gladiator Orruk sounds cool! I would use the bits from the Warcry iron golems. They have sort of a Roman gladiator theme imo. But I don’t know if you’ll actually be able to use him in Warcry. We don’t any of the factions yet.
Thanks for the reply and they have shown off a series of faction emblems along side the 6 new chaos ones and its pretty much confirmed to have Ironjawz..Bonesplitterz..and Gloomspite representing the destruction factions for warcry and if every one besides chaos doesn't get new models then I believe we will ultimately end up using some of our more basic troops for that subgame. So I was thinking of doing gladiator orruks as my theme if we don't get new stuff.Plus its reminds me of good ole Grimgor and his war with his former slave masters the chaos Dwarves in the world that was.@@ZIMMER1994
I don't know how big the savage big boss is, or standard orruks, but if you need bigger than normal pieces the Ogor Maneater sculpts are pretty neat and have a lot of character. They are resin though, so i don't know how well they'd convert.
There's no flame war :) TO be honest, I only came into WFb in tha tlast 9 months of it. I never had time to develop that nostalgia and love for the setting..... so i like AOS more, but I cannot compare the two in a fair way.

All the factions I like the most and want to collect in aos or 40k have the most outdated sculpts and it’s so annoying.

Waaaagh for Gorkamorka
The waaagh makes belief become real, red ones go fastah in 40k, in AOS gorkamorka is in every beast and bone and must be released. I love it.
Hey Doug not too start a flame war but what do you think about AOS lore compared to Fantasy?
