Nothing beat the simple life with family and friends. I would love to see a Christmas video! I’m 70 years now I have never left the simpler life. Have a small garden and make jewelry. Harvest herbs in my garden and make junk journals out of scrapes of paper. Thank you for bringing me back to a more sedate feeling. Don’t stop! Keep up the good work! ❤😊yours Martha

Great video! One thing - these appear to be fir trees not pine, and fir are mildly toxic. For pine, look for long needles that are square and grow in bundles
I’ve read that fir can have the same healing effects as pine, anti inflammatory, bug repellent, and help with sore throat , respiratory issues, fatigue and arthritis so I’m confused!

One issue is a lot of people refer to many types of conifers all as "pine trees" and group in fir, cedar, juniper, etc. so it's really important to consider exactly what they're calling a pine tree. People may be making tea or oil from something that is not a true pine because they don't understand how to identify the many different types of conifers.

I thought only the new bright green shoots of a particular pine in spring were used.
I have made tea from both and never had any issues, but one should always be cautious. Happy foraging!!! 🌲
