Thank you for sharing your experience, positive attitude about dealing with adversity and showing us lots of cool signs and collectibles. Stay safe. Peace
Yes that is a oil can rack when I was a kid at my dad's gas station I used to fill one of those all the time that's exactly what it is have a great day
I remember that Royal Triton oil. Grade D. Great for engines that had minimal compression left! Stuff was so thick that below about 55 degress you needed a spoon!
I woos have bought the plinko machine..probly sell it easily at an assistant live in facility /nursing home..I'm in one and know it wood be entertaining to play
Really enjoy all your shows. And really good.I appreciate you saying that all about things that you're saying and I think you spent seventeen hundred dollars
I don't know how many miles the Lincoln had on it...but low mileage ones are going for $20 grand+ Looks like it was worth $15 grand...At $4300 it was a steal.
I've often thought about travelling over from Europe, and filling a container with all the stuff you guys see everyday. I'd say there would be a market for all that Americana over here.
Another era ends and someone’s life is scattered to the wind 😢 Looks like the cars sold well , more than I thought Though the continental I would have liked for that money
My dad used to have a clamp similar to that big one you were curious about. His was used to vulcanize patches onto truck tire tubes, it held a metal dish, with a flammable substance on one side, and a heavy duty patch on the other side. You would prep the tubes, apply a glue, clamp the dish in place and once clamped, light the material, and it would vulcanize the patch to the tube, you wouldn’t be removing it, ever! Not sure that’s what this is. Tanker had a nice two speed rearend.
I remember those light up patches. A little tin tub on it with cardboard you lit. By the time that treated cardboard burned out you had a good deal. Camel brand
Maybe silas you can have a junkyard barbecue with your kids just to get a nice video with your family too at the old school bus I enjoy videos from the two channels of you thank-you 😂
I'm pretty sure the clamp thing with the cord is for doing section repairs on tires, I have never done one but I think the repair man grinds out the area where the hole is and fills it with raw rubber then puts the clamp over the raw rubber and it heats up and cures the raw rubber which makes it hard. when done curing the person repairing the tire would grind smooth or cut in any tread patterns on the tire making it as good as new again. that's just my guess though
at 5:54 is a HMV dog, a marketing figure from "His Masters Voice" records, Hes on the logo of the British record company listening to a gramophone. Quite valuable in good nick.
''Diamond in the back, sunroof top, diggin the scene with the gangsta lean woo hoo'' Dont know if your old enought to remember that song from the early '70? If you're not listen to it and you'll hear what I'm talking about😉
Ok, Silas, I'll be the odd one. Crush that junk! Sometimes it just isn't worth the time. It's ok. You can't save everything. The universe speaks to you. If you don't listen...well, it speaks louder!
there is just something about the win at the auction. then you get it all home and put over there for now at 71 i still go on marketplace still go to auctions. love tagging along with you i get the win not the bill. my old boss always said its all junk till someone ask how much. people refer to my yard as an adventure 27 years same location chilliwack british columbia my yard is a mini me to your yard.
How fun I have never been to an auction. You never know what you are going to get. I was going to ask do you sell or give away the jewelry you get? I remake and I always look for broken and whole jewelry.
That was a great auction! Great stuff and vehicles. I really liked the silver Lincoln. I also thought that “werewolf” statue was very funny. Would look nice at the entrance to your yard. lol. Thanks for taking us on another one of your adventures. I enjoyed it.
Splash you will miss lovely vehicles you crush any chance we can look about your dad's yard for a tour just what your dad keeps in his yard cool this 😅
Silas, that clamp thing with the cord is a tire patch vulcanizer. Back in the day, you would glue a patch to an inner tube. Put it in that clamp patch down & plug it in for 4-5 minutes. Vulcanize the patch to the tube. I've used them in high school at Western Auto after school job. I'm 73. So, that's how long ago they used them
Polish them headlights on that truck. Makes a big resale difference for just a few dollars and little effort. The mequirs kit with the foam ball is the one i like
S. Life is a series of hand of playing cards. You get good hands, bad hands, lousy hand or two. They all average out. You play the cards you'rre dealt and keep going on head held high.
The dairy sign possibly was mounted on or above cooler of store. (Milk, cheese, etc). Wolf son's grocery had these type of signs when plastic started replacing metal when growing up on the '50's.
Yes some days are better than others. With Jesus. Everyday is an awesome day. I am a scrapper and with Parkinson’s everyday is a blessing. Glad no one was hurt with the building roof

I had a friend who had an old Lincoln like that with a 460 4bbl….lots of power at probably 12 mpg. 😊
$4,000 for a door at 22:50 that's crazy
That guy that the one lady who got the screen door with the Bread signs on it got ran way up. That guy did that a few times to a few different people.
S. Life is a series of hand of playing cards. You get good hands, bad hands, lousy hand or two. They all average out. You play the cards you'rre dealt and keep going on head held high.
Sorry for the damage…looks like it is time to purge!
The dairy sign possibly was mounted on or above cooler of store. (Milk, cheese, etc). Wolf son's grocery had these type of signs when plastic started replacing metal when growing up on the '50's.
