I was the ripe old age of 4 years old. My mama and Daddy took me to many concerts. Mainly Elvis and The Bee Gees but this one was special! My Grandmother made a cute little blue suade jumper number for me and paired it with saddle Oxfords and ponytails to wear and Daddy had planned to put me on stage with Elvis! (Not sure how he got pass security but my guess would be he paid them.) I think we were on the 3rd or 4th row and I'm that helped. I recall being frightened as Daddy place me on stage because Elvis was singing Hurt and on his back. I looked at my father and he pointed for me to keep walking over to Elvis and I conjured up the courage to do so. The rest is history... He hugged me and gave me a beautiful scarf and I shook my little bottom and danced for him and made Elvis laugh. At 4 years old I had no idea how big of a deal it was to be there with Elvis Presley at that place and time. My mother lives across the country in Texas making it hard to see each other due to health conditions and Daddy died December 2014 and I still miss him everyday!!♡♡♡
Thank you Daddy for all the cool experiences you made happen! I love and miss you!❤❤❤

His voice is super powerful on this show. It's a crime it hadn't been recorded professionally. Do you know if there's any clearer recording of this particular version of Unchained Melody?

Such a crime that this fabulous show wasn't filmed professionally. We have Col Parker to thank for this of course. One of the best shows of 1976 with Elvis looking and feeling great. Thanks for this upload, and a million thanks to the fan who took the trouble and expense to film this, wherever you may be today.

So true, mediocre acts like Kiss had numerous concerts professionallly filmed in the 70's at the very same venues that Elvis played.

I wish I would have been to those electrifying shows full of energy. I am from Lima Peru and went to Graceland last year for his 35 th Anniversary and the whole Elvis week was so great, specially the concert. Watching all those people that worked for him and meeting them. It was thrilling! Love Elvis forever. Thanks for your post.

Meeeeee! I have newspaper clipping of the night and pictures, of course. I was 3 about to turn 4 one month later. My parents told me my Daddy would put me on stage. My grandmother made the blue jumper, and my mother had my hair in my signature double ponytail hairstyle. To finish my look, mom had me wear good old saddle Oxfords. I'll never forget that night. My parents are Mr and Mrs James W Andrew Jr...I miss them so much. This is just one event that made my childhood not the norm. ❤❤❤
