The lions that died at Bruce Moore were victims of abuse. They were locked up in that basement all the time and when they no longer decided to keep the lions, they turned it into what it is now which is a gross representation of island culture. He turned it into this over, sexualized bar in order to impress his businessman to get the deal. Bruce Moore is not a treasure. It is an embarrassing reminder of what the wealthy class gets away with. In the letter sent from the woman of the house to her husband she admits to closing up that lion with two German shepherds in that basement and an images you can see how mangy unkept and sad the cats always looked. There’s a school district in the area which today and immortalized the glorification of the abusive Leo, the lion as their school mascot. It would be good for the entire community there in Iowa to renounce that abuse and make a public statement about it to give Justice to those abuse exotic cats. At this time, there has been no attempt to right the wrongs that family has done.
