I just turned 64, getting divorced for the second time. Current wife is 20 yrs younger. We have been married 8 years. Just no longer had the desire or energy to put up with her demands for my time and energy. And quite honestly, I have just lost my desire to be around a woman. I spent the majority of my life wasting time, energy, and resources chasing tail. And now at 64, I could take it or leave it. I have learned there are very, very few women worth the price of admission. For 8 or 9 out of 10 guys marriage is a life of compromise, regret, and ultimately losing a lot of what you have.
Serious Questions: What's wrong with compromise or how do you mean it, negatively, because marriage is about negotiations, correct? If you could be more specific, I'm interested. Moreso, what regrets or losses of what you have aren't worth marriage, in your opinion? Thanks.

A friend suggested I listen to your content after divorce. Will have to admit I was completely oblivious to why she would divorce me. I was Beta-tized through a thousand concessions was married 7.5 years. She constantly told me she wishes I was the man she married. THE UNPLUGGED ALPHA answered all my questions I no longer had to lay in bed at night wondering what went wrong. When you are with a lady who is right for you, and you are right for her, spending time with her should be as relaxed and enjoyable as having a pet cat curled up and snuggling on your lap = it just 'feels right'. If the lady you are with likes to create drama, start fights, tell her once that you won't put up with that and that's her first and last warning. The next time she creates drama, dump her and move on to find a lady who won't behave badly like that. Drama usually ends up in a future divorce.

You deserve to be a pinned comment. A Lot of men believe they have to have affairs to get by while they are married to the wrong woman for them, Just to keep their parents happy. Anda they know that they could have it all but it is so ingrained in their minds to repeat the same mistakes as their parents.

The "genuine burning desire" concept has been very helpful for me. On dating apps now, I always look for the women who reply with like 3 or 4 messages in a row, the ones who are complimenting me and asking me questions. No need to waste time with ones who reply with a single word and will probably flake later anyway. I want the relationships where it's going to be easy to keep her around, even if I'm dating other women too, and even if I don't give her as much time as she wants. Only dating women who have genuine burning desire makes your life so much easier.

I resolved two years ago to never again spend money on dating Apps. I've had at best half a dozen matches over the last MONTH.

Dating apps are worse way to meet women.. there are tons of chameleons there.. but to each his own.. I guess in the end you will meet a bad women regardless dating app or RL.. do your research and be mindful of the red flags.. take care gents

At 51 and married for the past 24 years, I wish I had known this earlier. While married with kids is great, I would never marry again if something happened and I would have married a lot later in life. My drive, focus on my career, job and business has always been a point of stress with my wife and kids. Focusing just on me and my business with some occasional tail would have made life a lot easier. There is really not rush if you have your sh&t together, look good and make bank.
Mark, for the young guys reading this.... Im the opposite. I got married at 24 and my wife left me for her boss when I was 39. Im glad I got married at 24 because it means for me now that my kids are all adults finally and done with the every day stuff at least Im free to do anything I want once again except this time I have a few bucks to do it with. Ive had many fantastic relationships since my divorce with all women 20 years younger and I loved every one of them but I was not willing to get married and have kids but was always up front with them and they got that. All ended well and Im grateful for that. So your experience is you wish you had married later and Im glad I married early. You say that but anything could have happened in those years if you had married later....thats for your comment.
Loved this one. So simple, but a hard lesson for most to learn. Except- when you are married with kids....then you need to put up with some of their crap, at least for the short term, as they do yours.

Good video, Rich. I bought your book a few weeks ago and am currently reading it. I have a good job, own a home, play competitive rec league sports with some good guys, and am in great shape. However, I did get ghosted by a girl I really hit it off with after newly becoming single after an 8 year LTR in late August. So this video was perfect. I'm diving too deep into whether she got back with her ex or if things were moving too far along and she got spooked and then all of a sudden block me. I'm sure it doesn't really matter and I just need to chase excellence.

unfortunately ran into a chick I caught feelings for.
She had the audacity while we were out on a date to get a phone number from another guy while we were out, she didn’t know I saw her and called her out on it.
We are FWB and not in a relationship which is why she claims she thought it was ok and I wasn’t giving her any wiggle room it was the disrespect of doing that while in my company and she knows it. First anger then Crocodile tears
Then the lies about other things started pouring out and she started to get upset with me over things we never talked about. Tried to put the blame on me or get upset over things and redirect the conversation. Claims she gave me 100% honesty… yeah when she was put on the spot and had to.
I realized I was dating a pathological liar. Red flags 🚩 became immediately apparent.
This one hurts because we clicked so well together and I thought I found “the one” but having coming out of a bad relationship very recently to this, it honestly just feels like the same heartbreak with a different woman.
I’m tired of getting my hopes up only to have them smashed.
After realizing your female friend doesn't see you that way(a potential boyfriend, lover) how do you move forward without treating her with resentment and being cold? Nothing like finding out that all the time you were an "in-betweener" friend to talk about her problems. I wished her the best truly with what she does with life but I can't keep looking past the obvious signs just in hope of something becoming more than platonic.

If you can't just enjoy her as a platonic friend, then you need to let her go for your own sake. Like Shawn says, be honest with yourself and her. If you can't just be friends, she will understand if she cares about you as well. It really sucks when you get shot down but at least you know where you stand. Don't think about changing her mind, or that orbiting her will one day result in being with her - she isn't interested in an intimate relationship, so the question is do you benefit from a platonic one with her?

Guys listen to him. I am a woman and I can attest to this. Alpha males don’t chase because they have options. The sole reason of giving men invalid excuses is because we Do NOT see them as high value enough to date them. This is why most alpha males have girls simping over them because they can pick and choose and be with any girls they want. Level up and see the results. Most men do Not want to better themselves because they are either too lazy or they want to stay in their comfort zone. Don’t get offended if you get rejected, instead LEVEL UP. This video's on point. I used to be like that. I was thinking if I didn't say this or took her to that place instead of this one she would be really into me. Bottom line, if she's keen it doesn't matter where you take or what you say (unless you say something really stupid to turn her off or show her you're beta) she'll make it easy. I don't bother anymore with girls who don't have a level of attraction, too much effort. Know I stopped caring whether they like me or not, and my results have increased exponentially.
Amen to that. The moment I stopped making women my primary focus on life was the moment when my finances, career, education, and happiness started to increase. I have also cared less and less about what others think about me over the years, which drastically helped me in my investment decisions.....this only took me about 10 years ahaha (fell in 'love' at 18, yes I was young and dumb). I am now 32, if only I realized this a lot sooner, then perhaps I would've been even more well off..

That is true on the one hand, but on the other hand, how a man can get a desired women when he is not asking himself 'why she is not responding to him'? He should be asking these questions if he is not getting results he want.

My last three women I dated have had these issues:
The first had no drivers license because of an OVI. She hit a school bus at 7am and the police found several bottles of prescription anxiety drugs in her car. She had sold her car and had no intention of getting a license. I had become her go take me to get food, beer, cigs and court hearings. Good Bye to her.
The second carried a flask of vodka everywhere. Drank a fifth each day while on vacation. She got smashed on a airline trip and started yelling on the jet. I had to calm her down or be fined. We got to the hub and she went straight to the bar. I looked in on her and she was checking in on her dating app. I hopped on the jet and never looked back.
The third has been married 4 times and has five children. Three different father's for her children. The last child she lost total custody and is unable to see him. She had a serious auto accident 10 years ago and has ended up with a pain doctor. She only comes around now for certain is to use my phone because her phone is unable for video conferences to the doctor to receive pain medications. One minute she is all good and the next you will wait days for a response.
Such is life!

I mean... you're (presumably) a good dude... she's (from your description) a quality chick and you've sustained a relationship for 18 months. Why do you need advice on how to 'not mess it up'?
Is she 'out of your league'? It sounds like you're asking how to continually present yourself as her best option? Sorry man but this question just seems super weird to me. If you've got a good thing going... keep doin what got you to this point. Be honest - conduct yourself with integrity and dignity and don't cheat. Unless you have a propensity for self-sabotage, keeping a good thing going shouldn't be too terribly difficult.
To be fair some of these red pill channels do sort of distort some dudes minds to over think. I honestly think one of the premises in these channels should be to lay a good foundation and pass on information but to remind guys not to over think and just have a fun life.
All this dont text back right away, don’t ever pick her up, never pay for the date, blah blah blah. I agree in the context the guy should be aware to not get used or plaid by those means, but also to just go with the flow and feel the situation out.
It is still possible to be a red pill gentleman who can quickly revert to “gtfo of my face”. It doesn’t have to be all cut throat 24/7. Some of us aren’t built for that anyways.
