I met Steve Cooper in a shop in Chester when he was only a few weeks into the job....lovely genuine man....I expressed my concerns about relegation! He said 'don't say that' in a jokey way.....the transformation since has been beyond anything we could have envisaged
Hodgey....My favourite Forest player,love these interviews! That 'Yeeeaaahh' Roar he gave at full time will live long in the memory.
With respect to others, Steve is my favourite summariser. Well done young Hodge! 👌
Absolutely love listening to Hodgey on Radio Nottingham. His knowledge on the game is another level. His football brain seems wasted doing commentary (not that I want him to leave)
Also, his ‘YEEEESSSS’ to every Forest goal on the radio is fantastic.

Top Man Hodgey ! he's a great guy, love listening to him with Colin Frey , very passionate and his roar when we score is spine tingling.

Steve Sutton and Brian Laws are fine as co commentators on Radio Nottm but feel the coverage is raised a notch when Steve Hodge is there. Combo of Colin Fray's enthusiasm and Hodgey's inside knowledge and passion makes for a great team.

The balls in our court so to speak. Promoted to the premier league and in the strange position of having to rebuild the majority of the squad due to having nearly half of the regular team on loan. So much to do and it's exciting to see what will happen in the coming weeks running up to August.
No disrespect to Brian Laws or Steve Sutton, but Steve Hodge is hugely knowledgable on football - he knows all about players and managers and systems and is articulate about them. Thought for a while that he ought to be involved at Forest - but now he's got £5m sitting in his bank, he won't want to !
I wouldn't be surprised if that sale made him more money than the whole of his footballing career.
First season in many where I can recall many many games and goals...so many stand out performances....much of the last 20 + years were utterly forgettable
you really can't compare Steve Cooper with Chris Hughton.
