@@HomeBrewingTV oh brilliant. That makes a huge difference. Thanks for the review guys. Great video. Now I just need to find out how to get one to New Zealand :)
Gentlemen, thanks for your review. Santa has one waiting for me and I am very excited to use it. I’ve been brewing for 25 years and am just running out of time to spend on the craft. This looks like the next chapter to great home brew. Mmmmm beer. Some thoughts - for the sanitizing some Everclear in a spray bottle makes it easy instead of the iso wipes. To modify the kits, get extra grains and hops from your favorite supply to tweak. Lastly, I will be making a “Futuristic” IPA by adding .5lbs more Cara10 for more malty mouthfeel and substituting Lallemand Verdant yeast. Well done!!!
I just started using a BeerMKR and on the BeerMKR Users FB page a couple posts have mentioned that they cleaned, sanitized and reused the bags a couple of times.
@@paulw57 Good to know. I guess you could if you’re making your own recipes. The bags are pretty sturdy. The kits you get from BEERmkr all come with new bags. Keep brewing my friend!
I placed my BEERMKR on a sturdy wood table and the vibration noise isn't amplified like it is on the card table used in the video. FYI: The vibration cycle lasts about 5 minutes and runs maybe every couple of hours or so.
Enjoyed the video.. Seems to be a nice option for those who want to brew sample batches. I enjoy the brewing process, I use a propane set up brewing all grain. Saturday I will be enjoying the hobby hanging in my garage brewing a Sierra Navada Torpedo while sampling some of my previous home brews.. I was expecting that at some point you would be posting your view of the Beer n BBQ by Larry live stream.. Cheers!🍻 Stay Safe!
I love brewing on propane in the garage… haven’t done that at home in a long time. As far as the Larry brew day, I had a catastrophic failure of that hard drive, so there will be no video pertaining to that. Enjoy your brew day!
All is well, and thanks for watching. Brewing has taken a backseat as of late. Very busy at work, and trying out a new hobby. Reloading ammunition which is also sucking up resources. Keep brewing my friend!
Interesting looking machine and your team did a great job with an honest review. I just wish that you didn’t need disposable bags. It just seems so wasteful. I’m just not sure who this product is for. You aren’t saving money compared to buying beer at the store. It’s not as satisfying as making beer from scratch. Morebeer has e-brewing kits for under $500 that allow for 5 gallon batches. Also no-boil means pre-isomerized hops which is a bummer.
I think this machine is geared more so for the person who wants fresh homebrew without the fuss. It really is as close to a Keurig for beer as I’ve seen. But for a brewer like myself it does take the “fun” out of making beer.
Doesn't look like a machine I would recommend to anyone. What's the purpose of those machines? Nice handling and preventing user mistakes! What you demonstrated in the video looked like the opposite: fiddly handling, leaks, problems attaching plastic parts and closing the front door... (and you are an experienced brewer). In short words: this looks like a waste of money.
Would you have preferred a polished sales presentation for the machine? We will always give an honest view of what a product is or can do. If you don’t like it, then we did our job correctly and saved you some money. The machine produces good beer, but I don’t think it’s core demographic will be experienced brewers.
This looks great, I ordered a machine from you guys when backing you on kickstarter, I was speaking with someone back in October telling me machine should arrive soon, since then it has been radio silence, can someone please contact me regarding my order. It’s very unprofessional
Can you brew your own recipes or do you have to use their packs?
You can brew your own. They have a downloadable tool for adjusting recipes for the system.

Can you clean, sanitize and reuse the brew bags?
No. One time use.

@@HomeBrewingTV A couple brewers mentioned they keep a couple used bags around to use to help clean the lines on the beer tap too.
whoa! That thing is a bit loud... at least on camera lol. Its a cool concept if you don't wanna hang around a brew kettle all day. Cheers!

You might want to try contacting the BEERmkr folks. Mike and I just reviewed the machine, we don’t make them. beermkr.com
