    How does that function with third function on front? Mine seems to be a momentary switch on the loader handle like to open and close a grapple

    Any trouble with debris coming at you? Where did you get it? I like how you can trim the limbs in front while bush hogging in the back. It would also be super easy to mow under trees going forward.

      No debris with me! I got it at Reds Outdoor in Poteau Oklahoma! I get all of my echo, Grasshopper, kioti, and Modern ag stuff there! It does wonders on certain applications!

    Dang, what the heck was that super loud squeal? I think you need to call Pathslayer and let them know you've got squeal problems with your setup. Yep, sounds like you don't have enough hydraulic fluid to operate the cutter and the tractor FEL, simultaneously. Very similar if you had low hydraulic fluid and you were trying to do FEL work. Hydraulic fluid flow issue. I'm thinking your tractor hydraulic fluid pump is not enough to power everything simultaneously. Go to either Trail Blazer or Quick Attach and purchase an independent 3 point hydraulic fluid pump system that will pump fluid directly to your front cutter and not interfere with your tractor's existing hydraulic fluid pump system to operate your tractor. Trail Blazer has a hydraulic power pack that cost $1700-ish that will provide approximately 8 gpm fluid to your cutter. The Quick Attach 3 point pump system cost $3,500 to $4,000. This was just my quick observation as a viewer without seeing your set-up. If it's not a hydraulic fluid flow issue, then check that noise out. Thanks for sharing this video and glad I saw Pathslayer's cutter (that noise changed my outlook about a Pathslayer). 👍🏽🙂

      It ended up being my tractor, I had a small needle size whole somehow in my cooler which was reducing my fluid and power! Didn’t know that’s what it was until after I made the video! Also, it was a little low Sae 90 fluid in the pathslayer from factory so added more and it worked great! That was only my 2nd or 3rd full time to use I believe!

    The hydraulic flow on that is probably woefully under the requirement for that unit.

    Thanks for the informative video. We just purchased one as well. Do you know if the squealing sound at engagement in your video at about 7:55, 11:05, 14:10, etc , is normal? Ours does the same thing on a John Deere and was/am concerned that something isn't "right"? Now we hear yours doing the same thing. Do you know what that squeal is? And is it OK? Thanks.

      Jason, make sure that ur machine has the gear sae 90 lubricant in it! They do not put it in the reservoir from factory, or at least mine didn't! Once I filled it didnt squeak as much and has cut a lot better now, as it should! Also, make sure your RPMS are higher on the initial start! Hope this helps! I've had to learn from experience with this machine!

    • @jasonmiller4602
      @jasonmiller4602 3 роки тому

      @@rrlawntractorsport6443 Thanks R&R. Will do. We did make sure it had gear lube in it, but not sure if it was 90w. Will check. And find your comment interesting about RPMs, because so far the only way we can engage it without the squeal is very low RPMs and then ramp them up after engagement. But we have not even used it to any extent at all yet. We'll start playing with it and see how it goes. Thanks again.

    Looks underpowered. You need a pto hydraulic pump with adequate lines leading to the cutter. This is a sorry demonstration. The way you're dressed says it all. Try again! 😢
