This is my favorite pinball machine, I searched for over 5 years until I finally got to play it live for the 1st time. I agree this game needs a remake.

Absolute Popadiuk masterpiece... That and Theatre of Magic, two spectacular pins. I am pleased to say that this pin pulled me into pinball, and that I am a proud owner of one of these 3,128 gems.

K K, do you still own your TOTAN? Ours arrives next week, I am beyond excited! I anticipate the value of this beautiful machine with only 3,100 ever made to appreciate significantly in value, especially in 20+ years. But I do hear that many find the machine too easy eventually, or just get bored of it. Hope this hasn’t happened to you and doesn’t happen to me!
This game is the Zoltar of pinball, this needs a reissue.

buy PS4 or download pinball arcade if you already have, there is this table and dozens and dozens of other famous pinball tables.....
and its do have realistic 1:1 look, feel and everything as had orginal machine..
and you get 1 table for free and can buy those more for 1.50€ for piece or bundle of tables once is even cheaper, but can't recall prize for those.
today after 28-29 yrs I finally rescued princess again was flashback in mid 90s, for a while I was kid beating "that" machine

This thing gave me nightmares when I was a kid, the genie ain't your Aladdin genie that's fasho. It's one that gets your imagination going. I love a board that taunts the player, too.
on the gold coast Australia I use to play this game in timezone someone had this for sale in 2001

one of the games I can spend near 30 min playing on the app. the timing of the lightning type light coming towards you then away to the music is very distracting but fun. :) all I know is multi ball comes up and not many BALLS get away from my flippers :)

Yes! I had no idea shooting star was optical, that is really neat! Its sad the production was so low on this, I want one a TotAN some day.... the last one i saw was on ebay for $10,000! This video made my day, both because I love the game, and that Frank is back!

WatchDragon Yes...it seems others were not aware of it as well! We always try to make a video of every different game that comes through. Sometimes we skip a game when we have done a video already or recently (like Close Encounters and High Speed that sold a couple days ago).
Had to play this on pinball arcade sadly gotten remove once i played since oh those memories

I have to say, this is a beautiful game, but it always seemed to have a lot of "dead ball" time where you were just waiting for the ball to come back down, while J-Pop's other efforts Theatre of Magic and Cirqus Voltaire had such a lovely rhythm and flow to them.

Nice work. One suggestion: the Bazaar lights look better if you make them rainbow colored, which really adds to it. Try it out on the next one you upgrade.
One of my precious machines I'll probably never sell (heavily customized), even though the game is pretty easy it's fun and not punishes you hard for missing a shot. One of my most played machines at parties.
Still looking for a nice topper and a better brass like lamp.

Frank is back? Hope so, miss the nods and "no" from him...hope he is doing better...i will be honest...my mom had ALS....I left my job to take care of her 12/7 days a week. My dad did morning and half the afternoon then I did 7pm til 7am. Maybe more depending what aid was there...I might go until 1pm then sleep til 7pm...but before I slept I watched your channel..I love it and someday I hope to get a baby pacman or 'my favorite ' donkey kong lol played it in boy scouts during summer camp..they had a 5cent coin up...I miss that game lol...that all said..l love your channel, its gotten me through the worst point in my life just to learn about pinball machines as well as arcade machines it helped me out a lot and I thank you so much. You have my respect and I look foward to your next video.
InFeRnO sKuLL My biggest concern is that if you may fall asleep while watching our videos...maybe get one of the spiked cages featured in this game to stab into you if you start to doze! Glad you enjoy the videos and glad you are keeping that fifth commandment (Honor your Father and Mother) because HE is always watching!

Hello, i’m a fan of this pinball and all the original stuff that came from the williams, but with all the respects i need to asq some questions.
1- why the decision of change the color of the corner light to theses violet led light and not the original color? Like gold warmy color? It’s the second time i see that.( definitely not like)
2- why the screen in color mode? Again this cut the magic of the color concept of the game, gold color, gold lamp.
I respect the channel and all the hard work you dooing and the dedication ,( i will love to work there ) but dont understand the decision of changing that things.
This pinball it’s the example of a top Moment on 90’.

61 million on this machine....NOW THAT'S A HIGH SCORE!! Thought the "Tales From The Arabian Nights" pinball game was going to beat me by letting me play till 21,000,000 because it thinks I didn't get enough practice out of it. Well a lots and lots of practice this time to score 61 million!
Did STEVEN help with the camera work? I don't think so! I think he should be scolded, for not doing his part!

Be careful, putting your finger across that optic sensor, Todd. Imagine what would have happened to your finger, if a game had already been started...
The blue rubber booties on the white flippers, accents the games main colors, very well.

I've been wanting to understand how those mechanisms work ever since playing this game on location when it was new. The Genie magnet assembly is huge! I also noticed on the one I played BNIB, that it didn't have the Williams logo on the Genie Magnet. I wonder if I was playing a proto at the time, or whether these protective stickers were issued to operators after the fact. The site I was playing at were the distributors in Australia (Leisure and Allied Industries) for Bally/Williams tables.

Just bought this machine, supposedly fully refurbed. It's in immaculate condition and mine doesnt have the W logo on the magnet either interestingly

This machine makes the loudest noises. It startles me at times.
Also when I get multiball it just pauses for 30seconds. Something is wrong with the machine at the pub.
Call the Service number on the Machine and tell them
..otherwise it will NEVER get fixed!

I was in the hospital for my heart back in 2001 as fluid in my lungs but I am fine now. I know it is no fun hooked up to about everything they have and the worse is the food.

that upgrading get you get money/or make it more collectable than keeping it orginal????
+John Stoner For Life 77 I think, since this is not fine furniture, that the upgrades to make people happy or increase the appeal are all just fine. These are different to collecting Star Wars toys that stay untouched inside sealed boxes to simply sit out on a shelf! Personally, I would want my games as sharp and upgraded as possible!!

but hey that's matter of opinion, me personally would choose orginal than update non orginal because artist himself didn't design those colors in orginal art
and 50 yrs from now someone looking that pinball won't pay as much for it as he would if that machine would have orginal screen .
This table is my step "mom&dad" ,I spent more time with it, than with my parents as teenager.
That's why I'm little "touchy" about it 😉
