Guys just bought a second hand one and working my way through it. Had an 25 year old c-scope b4 so large leaning curve. I need to update the machine but instructions say hold down the plus and minus key when machine is off to find current version but doesn’t work any ideas. Plus I have a Mac not a pc so if version not up to date will have to take into a shop to sort. Any ideas
Sorry buddy I never update any of my machines I’m rubbish at stuff like that I do know that lots of people don’t actually bother doing it on other machines like the Deus.

Isca Detecting I had a few bits of coke yesterday. Came in around the mid teens with a good audio but it sounded a bit flat . Soon. Get to know the coke signals . In EUD mode it’s supposed to ignore it too . I’ll take a look at that soon you puff 😊
Anglo Celtic Metal Detecting Ah thank you oh wise puff 😎 On the Nokta Impact coke comes up in VLX2 14 kHz around 44 on the VDI with a mid to high tone. In a 4 tone 14 kHz it comes in at around 15 with a very high tone. I always run with 4 tone on my coke infested permissions. 4 tone might be good on the Kruzer if there's pesky coke puffs around?
Iain Mackenzie yes mate I’m sure they are. Gain just gives you a bit more depth on a clean site if you turn it up . Discrim well I don’t like to use much of that sometimes none at all. All a matter of your field type and what your looking for on it mate . Time and practise on the machine is key .
awesome video, can I ask some advice please guys, which would you recommend...cruiser or equinox 800? I go on lots of club digs and meadoes and I wanna do river this summer...I currently have about 900 notes saved... I need to upgrade from my ace 250..its doing my head in not seeing numbers lol

WHAT ARE THE SETTINGS FOR SEARCHING FOR GOLD NUGGETS IN SOIL FULL OF MINERALS
To be honest I don’t know bud never tried that type of Hunting. Check out some videos and settings of that type of Hunting on UA-cam and good luck.

Equinox Digger just upgraded from a 250 to a Kruzer, lots to learn. Hence why I am here lol.
