I love the Truly Devious series! It is really hard to stop reading after just one book 😂 good luck! Since it’s set at a school, we get to go from fall to summer, I think… There’s at least one book I remember being set during the summer, and that’s book 4😊

From the middle of March I just couldn’t get through a book, I got halfway through 3-4 books and soft dnf’d them, I know I’ll go back and finish at some point but they weren’t giving me what I needed at the time, now this last week I’ve just read Powerless….. And OMG….. it was amazing, I loved it! It’s the first book I’ve managed to FINISH in almost 3 months 🙈 just had to find what my brain wanted ❤️

I just finished Dark Age. Can’t wait to see your reaction when you read it. I’m sure Ian has probably talked to you about how the title really does match the tone of the book. There’s some scenes that were way more graphic and honestly difficult for me to read. It was still an incredible book and so action packed. Thought I’d mention the graphic content though because I wish I had known ahead of time just how insanely dark and brutal it gets. There’s two chapters towards the end that were especially gory. On another note, as soon as you mentioned the author breaking the fourth wall, I immediately thought of Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. That was my first book by him and it’s one of my new favorite books of all time. He also enjoys having the narrator speak to the reader and this book is such a fun adventure story based off the Princess Bride. I think you’d like it too. I highly recommend.

I was an avid coffee drinker in the morning but want to switch to making myself matcha lattes instead bc I am not able to drink coffee like I could before. HI! 👋🏼 oh my gosh, I love this question! I love the chamberlain coffee matcha online. It is a bit pricey but it is sooo good and definitely worth it. I like the plain matcha in the green tin from them! 🩷🥰
Hi friend! 👋🏼 I am planning on filming a Day in the life where I go into detail on how I make my matcha :) it should be up next week but for the time being I will say the brand of matcha powder has been a game changer for me. I prefer the chamberlain coffee brand of matcha! It is in a green tin and it’s just the plain matcha powder🥰 it shouldn’t be bitter but I also add a little bit of honey and cinnamon with some milk to make a latte! I add about 3-4 tbsp of warm water to my matcha powder add in the honey, cinnamon and mix! Just pour that on top of the milk and it is delicious! I hope this wasn’t confusing 😅🩷
I feel the need to slightly defend Alternate Endings. I listened to it on audible which helped. There is nothing about her being a bad mom, she is actually a really good mom; she had a crappy breakup with her husband due to some issues I won’t spoil for those who read this, but the ex uses her work against her in some ways and so she is struggling with the fact she has to go to Ireland every couple of weeks. There is a lot of stuff that happens later on that explains so much of how it starts out. Anyway, like I said - listening to it verses reading it physically probably helped me because while it wasn’t my favorite I thought it was pretty good. At least to kill time while I was driving and running errands :). Just my 2 cents. 😊
