Anyone have a good build that doesn’t use the Y helm? I’ve been running the original armor layout but it’s very congested losing that extra level slot. The 17% increase in damage is a little to high for me
So you want a build that has good slots but doesn't compromise defense? Well I personally like to use a build consisting of the Rajang head piece, Damascus for the chest and waist, Teostra (Kaiser) arms, and then the Garuga greaves. This set doesn't let you run master's touch obviously but you don't really need it if you use a charge blade with high white sharpness like Nergigante's, G. Rathian's, or Safi shatter shield with at least one sharpness awaken lvl 5. Most times the monster leaves the area before my sharpness level drops. This build prefers SAED spam over savage ax due to the lack of master's touch but if you need to you can just bring whetfish scale + which Capcom recently gave 20 free in their commemorative item pack. This build is a lot more comfy to me than the master's touch one because it's easier to squeeze in health boost without loosing out on as many important skills.

I haven’t been to excited for MR (I’m like MR 180) due to how many things simply one shot you even if you’re fully equipped with a high end set, along with the nerfs to things that kept you alive by being aggressive such as the health regen nerf and the necessity of the clutch claw.
When zinogre roars guard point it using R2+Y or RT+🔺 after doing it successfully press Y+B or 🔺+⭕ then hold back with your left joystick and press Y or 🔺 again
From what im seeing he always tenderize the boss head and you use savage Axe to spam head damage so most of it will crit thanks to tenderizer and extra damage from attack 7 so alot of raw damage to the boss head im not really tho sure correct me if i am wrong !

jjulien Nope it’s Not! If you’re playing cb go definitely for attack
Since your phil damage doesn't scale with sharpness but rather your base RAW, 5x attack is better.

Why are you playing with atk 7 + crit eye 5 instead of crit eye 7 and atk 4?
