without spoilers they don't need to attach the whole weapon, just the cartridges, members of each squad have divine tool repliclas and they get a cartridge from the main divine tool, with the replica adapted to a specific ability from the main artifact so fo example the pink guy has a cartridge that he attaches to the wand thing and can use the regeneration ability, and pink keeper just need to attach that cartridge back to her boots to be able to use it herself or for blue, heriku(the scythe guy) had the cartridge for that acid/slime thing and he had to install it at the back of the scythe when he activated in his introduction and currently blue had his cartridge and aizome's for the mustache head one that shoots lasers, while he always carries the explosive bubbles one with him, and now got that water prision thing at the end of the episode
