Do They Know It #155 - Do Teens Know 90s Music? #22 (React: Do They Know It?) - Розваги
"Janet Jackson...oh I've heard of her"....
Me *flips table*
Did you ever get your table put back upright?
22 episodes, but still waiting for REM 'Losing My Religion' and Rage Against The Machine 'Killing in the Name'
But you see they have to make room for another reaction to another Mariah Carey song. How many artists have they replicated throughout these episodes? I've seen people throw out some good songs that were popular on Top 40 and college radio back then but they get ignored cause they are lazy want to throw the same tired out artists over and over again.
"its giving me Cheetah Girls in Spain vibes" im deceased
"I feel like 90s music is always relaxing no matter what genre it is."
Somebody play this girl some Pantera.
Pretty much any metal music. How about some Rage Against the Machine?
I don't think Green Day was very relaxing...
@@cthulhujack4518 how about good riddance by green day.
Pantera is '80s my man. They made music in the '90s too but they were an '80s metal band.
@@notavailable4596 maybe you haven't seen many of these videos but there not about what main decade a band is from. It's about what year the song came out. Plus cowboys from hell, vulgar display of power and far beyond driven all came out in the 90's. I would say there a 90's band
You guy's need to have elders & adults do the 90's, I'd definitely like to see what they remember from those years!!!
Never could have guessed someone would used the worsd "very grungy" for The Offspring...
Their first albums are kinda grunge though
love how the one chick says 90's music is always so relaxed .. beach vibes .. lol .. Perhaps you should do a 'react' to The Prodigy, NIN or Rage Against The Machine ;)
I’m so glad that the Offspring was on here!
”oh no may parents are gonna disown me”. lol.
When Jaxon flung off his headphones dude I lost it 😂😂😂
The fact they didn't at least recognize Janet's voice, forget knowing the song!
Sublime and The Offspring
Anybody else wanna scream when they mention their parents?! Janet is a living Legend. You don't have to like her music to know that. Janet, Madonna and Michael invented the dance music video. If MTV actually played music videos again, these kids would have a wider knowledge of music 🎶
Is it just me or was Jaxon extra funny in this episode
Love The Offspring. I'd love to see the kids or teens react to their full catalog.
Did that boy just say Janet Jackson sounds like everyone else? Bruh you better check yourself. She inspired all the queens that came after her.
Still no: Pretty Fly (for a white guy) by the Offspring?
TheRealSlimShelby THATS WHAT IM SAYING any the offspring song
I loved how Jaxon got way into it at 4:15 - 4:17 and his Headphones come off.
"Oh there it is!" XD
4:16 *headphones fall off but music is still playing*
We need an entire episode for Janet Jackson tbh.
Make them react to song they already reacted to and see if they remember ...
"This gives me Cheetah Girls in Spain vibes!" Hahahahaha! Best thing said in the whole video!
I'm impressed the teens know as much as they do. I was in my 20's through most of the 90's and don't remember the artists. That's challenging.
Props to Tyler for recognizing the Offspring’s use of the melody from Ob La Di Ob La Da!! Love both songs though!
Can we please get a gif of Jaxon headbanging to Whoop There It Is! ?
I lost it when his headphones fell off.
Your face scares me
Think he would jam out just as hard to the Disney version where they sing the song with Mickey, Donald and Goofy?
When he said theres not much ska but no doubt my heart broke... Someone show this kid the way of ska
Hey FBE, have you ever thought about creating a team effort for music challenges? For example, have 2 adults and 2 teens have a team challenge for Guess that Song for the 80's. Two people on the each side would make it more challenging. Just a thought.
I can't believe it took 22 episodes of 90s before Torn showed up.
Right? An iconic song of the decade and it takes 22 episodes!
It was the only song I actually knew from this episode lol.
22 Episodes in and no Fugees for 90's music, come on now.
I screamed when I heard Sublime, Marc Anthony, Natalie Imbruglia, The Offspring, Mary J. Blige!! OMG😍😍😍 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's rocks!!! Please do an Elders or Adults React to Pearl Jam, The Cranberries, The Carpenters, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, Frank Sinatra or Fleetwood Mac.
Song: "Tag Team, Back again..."
Them: "I don't know who it is by"
It is like these Teens, 22 in have not cracked the code. If it is rap? They say their names. If it is Sublime? They usually say their names too.
Starting out with Sublime, hell yes.
INXS, The Cars, Huey Lewis and the News, or famous duets (eg.Bryan Adams and Tina Turner-Its Only Love).
I see Janet, i click.
When you bop so hard you lose your headphones lol
Jump - Kris Kross
Everything is Everything - Lauryn Hill
I Wish - Skee Lo
Poison - Bell Biv Devoe
It’s Tricky
It Takes Two
Walk this Way - Run DMC
Fight for your right to Party - Beastie Boys
Drive by Incubus, No Rain by Blind Melon, and I'm a Tree by Imani Coppola should be on this.
Please, make them react to The Offspring
I second this.
I third a year later
I fourth
I fifth
The black girl is the kind of person you tell something to and she's nodding but she's not actually paying attention to anything you're saying
I want to see these teens react to Rammstien!
You know they’d just whine and complain, lol
So? There teens they're complain about everything lol. I just want to see the expressions on their face as they hear it.
Yeah. Though, not just the music through headphones.
They have to watch the videos that go along with the songs chosen as well.
Then we'll see how they fully react to Rammstein in all their glory. Should be fun!
Yea it should :D
These videos make me realise how different the US and UK popular music scene is.
Exactly I knew like none of these
I knew none of the British songs
Don't think there were any British songs. Natalie Imbruglia is Australian.
I knew the Janet Jackson song and the Offspring but only because my brother was a huge Offspring fan when I was a teen in the 90s lol... and of course Natalie Imbruglia... Torn was a huge hit everywhere. But all the rest I don't think I have even heard before!
I want to show that kid all of the Ska bands that are out there that he's missing out on!
Jaxon has a really good personality.
Should do a teens react to The Offspring. They need to hear more of their stuff!
Jaxon is honestly becoming one of my favorite reactors
Please do a one hit wonder episode!
My idea: "Do College Students know Weird Al music?" They have to guess the song name and the name of the original song! It would be awesome!
I remember when torn was all over the radio. It was the same summer Godsmack blew up with whatever. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing either one of those songs. You should do whatever by Godsmack next.
How have you not heard of the Offspring. You need to do a teens react to The Offspring and have Caden back on to show the gloriousness that is that band!!
Hey, Janet Jackson. ❤️ A video needs to be done on just her.
Janet i'm..............so sorry
This is my girl throwback playlist: says "Torn" by Natasha Bedingfield lmfao
Love the Teens and the 90s music.
Other 90s songs they may not have reacted to:
Lightning Crashes by Live.
One by U2.
Losing my Religion by REM.
Jeremy by Pearl Jam.
Creep by Radiohead.
Two Princes by The Spin Doctors.
Killing me Softly by The Fugees.
Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover by Sophie B. Hawkins.
Informer by Snow.
(Just some thoughts)
Todd Mayo They did Creep
4:17 Jaxon could pass off as one of those headbangers in a metal band.
I see Janet I click. Also React to Pearl Jam
"I feel like I used to hear this all the time" ...bc they played it out on the radio while u we're in the child seat with a baba..
Teens React to Janet Jackson
Jaxon is my spirit animal. 😂😂😂
You need to do lesser known songs of popular artists. Songs that didn’t get radio play and were just used to fill out an album. Then see if they can guess the artists from their obscure songs.
I'm so happy that at least a few of them recognized Sublime.
The Offspring is still making music! How have these kids not heard of them???
Make generations react to Rocky Horror Picture Show songs
The Offspring 👌
Jaxon is hilarious. 😂
lmfaoo its giving me cheetah girls in Spain vibes 😂😂
LMAO
4:16 No headphones. NO PROBLEM!
Finally. The last time Natalie Imbruglia came up on React, the reactors and the producer butchered her last name. Clearly they've learnt their lesson.
"Torn" is still in my playlist
@@ncode03 me too, torn and that day
"Torn" is originally by EdnaSwap.
Yes! You finally did"Torn!"
Amusingly enough, one time while on vacation when this song was still insanely popular, my parents were changing the radio stations in the car and this song came on. Cue me singing along with it and my parents getting a bit surprised by me singing "I'm cold and I am shamed, lying naked on the floor." XD!
"90's music is always so relaxing" (flashes back to Coal Chamber, Fear Factory, Cradle of Filth...)
*Or any metal, grunge and pop punk band ever. The only possible exceptions would be something like Type O Negative, Nightwish or Paradise Lost.
04:17 most people drops mic but that kid drops headphone :3
I SEE JANET I CLICKED
I see The Offspring I click.
Same😂
Same here
Jon C I agree and I also think punk bands in general (even the ones now) along with modern rock and metal never get featured in a react and all other genres of music do.
i see janet jackson, i click
could they pleeeeeease react to janet jackson mvs
90s, best generation of music
Wears a Cheap Trick Shirt
Am i the only 18 year old that loves Janet Jackson and knows all her songs?
Nope. I love her music.
No love her since I was little and im 23 now.
Man, they need to start listening to more 90s music. They got the name of the song "Whoomp, There It Is" but they couldn't get the artist name even though it was said RIGHT IN THE LYRICS?!! That just boggles the mind a bit.
Offspring "Why Don't You Get a Job?", or as it's known by the 60's generation, "Obladi Oblada".
That's not what my first guess would've been at all.
What about a show that is do they know the original versions of Weird Al parodies?
React to the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (20th anniversary) pls
I couldn't help but snort when I heard the title of the Offspring song was "Why don't you get a job?"
yeah, this one's obviuos, but with punk bands you may never know the actual name of the song :D
do more 70's music
Elvin Bishop - Fooled Around And Fell In Love (1976)
Whoomp There It Is literally opens with "Tag Team, back again".
(With shame/pride I admit, this is one of the few songs I can sing along to perfectly. It and House of Pains "Jump Around". No idea why or how I memorized the lyrics to either.)
In the next 2000s video, you all should put in the song She Hates Me by Puddle of Mudd. I feel like I’m the only person to know that song. I’d like to know if the reactors know it
Or hourglass man
You Get What You Give - New Radicals!
Would be really fun with some Do Teens Know *80s* Music?" and Do Teens Know *70s* Music?" too, once in a while. Think you've only made 1 of those, while you've made 22 of these and 19 of the 00s music. It would be great with some variation instead of just more of the same.
Ive literally been waiting for an Offspring song for as long as youve done this. Thank you.
Hit them with Lemon Tree by Fools Garden. I only remember its a crazy one hit wonder. Everyone was singing it once upon a time
"This is very nineties. Very grungey."
LOL! No. This is pop punk.
Lol right? Fail
That Cheap Trick shirt tho! Nice taste.
I'd love to hear some Pantera and Korn on the "Do they know 90's Music?" review. It would be great to hear some Stone Temple Pilots too.
Jordan is everything
Yessss y'all finally added Janet into the mix
I suggest Bone Thugs n Harmony, Crossroads for 90s do they know.
Do they know the original artist from famous cover songs?
Here are my suggestions for the next Do Teens Know 90s Music?
1.2 Legit 2 Quit- MC Hammer ft. Saja (1991)
2.Whats Up-4 Non Blondes(1992)
3.Flagpole Sitta-Harvey Danger(1997)
4.Suck My Kiss-Red Hot Chili Peppers(1991)
5.What's My Age Again-Blink 182(1999)
6.All Over You-Live(1994)
7.I Wish-Skee-Lo(1995)
Lets hope that at least one of these songs gets included in the next Do Teens Know 90s Music?
Yes! I haven't listened to Flagpole Sitta in an _age_ so I'm gonna go do that now. Thank you
React to Aaliyah!
Yesssss😭❤️
Bas Veldhuis Yeeeesss!!
Yes just like they did for Selena!!!
How did they not know TORN by NATALIE IMBRUGLIA???
That was the only song i knew.
IKR, I knew that song's originally from 1997, but where I'm from, in the US, Torn by Natalie Imbruglia was.... EVERYWHERE in 1998. There was no escaping that song. And I really love that song.
Oh my these kids are growing!
that Marc Anthony song was giving me Oh Boyz vibes (boy band on Kim Possible)
It would be great if they reacted to 1991 classic “Informer” by Snow
