I can answer that…I just dumped one an hour ago. If they’re just flushing like they appear to be, there is nothing to empty. The water in the tanks is clean water and comes from a hydrant or a refill tank that houses regular potable water. If they have to use the vac on the front and boom that out, the tank gets dumped at the sewer plant directly into the sewer system at the tanks with much bigger pipes that can handle the debris that will be separated. If it’s mostly solid waste and very little water, there is a protected tarmac that is just for this type of sludge at most sewer plants. It’s where they run their compost piles after the water purification.
