always wanted to cover this song because i thought it was great and the stones did not pull it off as good as it could have been too late its been done now awesome !!
I irritated the hell out of Eddie Spaghetti after a show. I was way drunk and in line to have things signed. I didn't have anything so I had him sign my sleeve of my hoodie. Yanked him about religion. he is an atheist I think he told me and the party was at my mom's house. he was kinda not what you'd expect, little dorky but great show! Great band.
I love the band but Eddie spaghetti is a dork. He's cool though but he's a dork. I don't know any other way to put it. Nice fellow though. He's kind of one of those guys that has those pre-made put Downs that you know that he's just hanging on upstairs waiting for somebody to say something so he can use it. Like I asked him where the party was after they played. He said something about my mom's house but his answer was all drawn out and packaged. I was like "have fun on your bus". Hopefully it wasn't when he had cancer. I hope he's doing all right. I still got the hoodie he signed. I didn't have anything for him to sign so I just stuck my arm out. We talked about religion for 45 minutes. I did most of the talking. His beliefs are basically your typical atheistic dime a dozen type belief. That's fine, nothin wrong with that. Well there is something wrong with it actually in my view but to each his own is what I mean. That's just a empty way to live your whole life is all I'm saying. With no spiritual grounding at all. Who knows what's happened with him and his own personal experiences. We can never know what another man is thinking in his own mind. Cant beat that life he has lived. Only if you are bigger and make more money. Back in the day him and the Rev Horton Heat had a big argument at the show over coke. This was about 90 or so im guessing. Could been later or before then. I doubt before. Look below . I was here 5 years ago. Same story. Abridged version. Less philosophy. I became a philosopher!!ha ha. Wasnt looking so good but I was feelin real well!!
WHUT? Steve with the Supersuckers covering Keef! The best of all worlds
This is when I fell in love with Steve!!!
Happy Birthday today(January 17) to Steve Earle. Cheers!
Good choice for a cover. Nailed it
Every song they cover is better than the original, and there are many. Take your pick.
i'd never heard this b4-really great..take note current country posers!

Love the bass line
That's Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers. The guy who ended up playing bass by default when the band originally formed in the late 80s.
Excellent cover!
