I liked how his excitment for the game came through and appreciated him talking through what was happening. After watching how Labyrinth came out and how bored Bowen seemed in that preview, and Elwins stoic attitude in the Jaws preview, this was refreshing to me. I think there is room for two seperate videos with different goals though.
We watch Bowen to learn how to blow a machine up, nobody is expecting the man to act like a cheerleader.

Looking forward to playing Looney Tunes at TPF. I'm already on a list for PF. Had I known about CGC's reputation in regard to production rate, I would never have put down the deposit. I'll never again put down money on a machine unless I can load it up into my truck that same day.
I put down a deposit, then waited a year and a half for Halloween. Lol with Spooky you wait, wait, then wait some more, you think it's coming, then you wait some more.
It looks great just as TCM. They are putting way more in their games compared too their competitors
I like hearing the developer talk about the game. This is done in promotional video's for a long time by pinball legends like Steve Ritchie and Pat Lawlor.
I'm all up for some explanation. But give some time for people to listen to how the game sounds.
If I were to buy a new game today it certainly would be this one. Love what Spooky has been doing and really excited for what else they come up with.
I couldn't agree more about hearing the actual machine. I get describing what's going on, but still....
I was much more hyped by Bugs emphatic passion, over Elwin’s Ben Stein impression from Jaws 😅
EDIT: I hadn’t thought about the TCM comparison, but I definitely agree it makes the Marvin’s rocket feel kinda lame. Always appreciate your videos!
Elwin did a terrible job showing off Jaws initially. Stern should never let him do a video like that again. It’s one thing to have him play on a stream, but he has the presence of a peanut. He’s dry, and has no emotion or excitement. The guy is a genius of game design, don’t get me wrong, but there’s people you want to be the face of your company and present your products and then there are the Keith Elwin’s of the world who are better left to work behind the scenes.
I'm really liking this layout. Looks very interesting. Their games have been getting better and better imo.

I’m gonna say it. This looks better compared to Jaws. Just hearing Jackpot on Jaws is a snooze fest. I have no idea why they didn’t explain to him what Jackpot means in recording. Spooky is bringing their A game. Also look at the streams from LT and Jaws. Elwin seems so monotone and that he doesn’t want to be there and is forced to be there (like a kid going back to school cloths shopping).
Bug reminds me of my geek friend from grade school who I called Bonehead. He’s talking got on my nerves too. Couldn’t watch it all but I can’t wait to play it. I love shroomey tunes. Kudos to spooky.

Your next pinball machine needs to be The Shining. Pay Jack Nicholson whatever he desires for the callouts. Soooo many amazing possibilities for that license!
Looney tunes shots look fantastic, I love 4 flipper combos and theme is nostalgic, i got this in my pinside wishlist.
BTW if u lower your backbox brightness way down during attraction mode than viewers can see your pinball translite in more detail.
Man you had me cracking up Bug shut up you’re facial expressions and the way you said it hilarious. If spooky would put pop bumpers in their games would better.

TCM is my pick! The whole playfield filling up with blood. Is just cool. Same with the grinder.
A Taz Gear Mod would be a good idea to make Him really spin!

They could use a PWM speed controller for the spinning TAZ motor with little effort and cost. Imagine the same rotation like what you see for the spinning disks on Whirlwind where the speed can change as commanded. The current Taz movement in the video looks boring.
I love orange it’s in my top 2 colors. This is a burnt orange, and there’s 200% too much of it in that PF. That monochromatic burned orange makes me stay away. It’s not just about Wiley Coyote and RR.
Can’t wait to play it at TPF. I really like the unorthodox layout and shot paths.

Bug's commentary didn't "bug" me too much. Must be hard as heck to try to explain the game and play it too. I would rather listen to his commentary that some of these streams where some people sign on with the comment "Welcome Aboard Kid" and ask stupid questions that has nothing to do with pinball. Sorry, I can't do 3 hour long videos watching people play pinball. I would rather go downstairs and play mine own.

I thought the same thing watching the stream. I feel like every gameplay release video should have a good 10 minutes of direct stereo audio with no talking. Compare this video to Jack Dangers stream of Rick and Morty from a few years ago and it’s just night and day.
I agree, this is looking like Spooky's best yet. I'm torn between the two themes. Both themes have their charms. I'm not a TCM fan, but the game looks awesome. I want to feed Grandpa! I think if I were to choose I would go with TCM over LT. It just has better theme integration, IMHO.

I would be OK with Spooky doing Evil Dead/AOD or an 80’s cartoon (He Man, GI Joe, Thundercats, CARTOON Transformers, and none of that lame crap from the Transformers The Movie with crappy Rodimus and poopy Galvatron)

Love the Looney Tunes theme. Unfortunately for me, Spooky seems to be missing that fun factor in their games. Never get that feeling of just one more game. I hope Looney Tunes will change my opinion and unfortunately will have to wait until SFGE 2024 to finally get my hands on it.

I liked Halloween. I loved Scooby-Doo can't wait to play looney. Gonna buy the bugs birthday for my son and if this is great next one one block

100% disagree - the telling me about what is happening in the game is needed for the first time through, make me want to purchase it, sounds are not going to be the make or break on the first look video...tell me how it works and what is happening in the preview.
