Un leone della lirica . Questa registrazione purtroppo non rende giustizia! Dal vivo Reali aveva una bellissima voce del Baritono drammatico vero. Fantastico! il vecchio
The orchestra playing is really nice for an aria recording! I like the intro here that most excerpts miss. Details about the Rance, conductor, and band, please ! You are are doing a great job !
Thank you again. Every time I grab one of my grandfathers 78’s I type the name in & go to You tube & thanks to you I know what he was listening too. Just a voice to Treasure. Do you have any Alessandro De Sved? The Baratone on side aA of my Reali 78? Thank you the perfect voice for this Verdi aria.
Your "Alessandro De Sved" is the Italianized name of an Hungarian baritone by the name of Sándor Svéd, who was also known as Alexander Sved. If you search UA-cam for either of those names, you'll find quite a collection of his recordings!
@@trrill Thank you, for info. I have so many 78 rpm’s . It is very rewarding to hear these rare today singers. My grandfather went to The Met and had scrap book w different Singers he liked. One named Besanzoni a Contralto he made a note a great voice and a exceptional wide range. I think she sang at Met & he heard her live as his scrap book has pictures of many better known Singers from Met. No need to research her as you were kind enough already. Just in case you may like her I mentioned her. I only found about 4 songs of hers all very pleasant to my ear.(. Beauty being in eye of the listener ) Thank you again . If you have a singer you can’t find a recording let me know I’ll see if he or she is in my collection. I am forcing myself to open the totes w all those 78 s. The labels alone seem works of art.

My favorite comment yet! :)
A very otherworldy baritone sound. Beautiful and majestic and stentorian. Nice find!

Bravo…
Che grande baritono
That BigMac sound
I thought the same thing. He reminded me of MacNeil. Less huge, but more refined.
Who IS he ???!
London, Guelfi, Mino Cavallo baritono
Andrea Mingelli
Mongelli
Marvellous voice. I never see a incredible voice like this. Like a hidrogen bomb
