    you are lucky to have this in your neighbourhood...most cities are building skateparks :-(

      Demand that they build TENNIS facilities not PICKLEBALL. Skateparks are short sighted. Tennis is a sport for a lifetime.

    What kind of wall is this? - blocks with render? - some people complain the render comes off and the outside of the wall falls apart...

    The wall in my neighborhood is plywood. Which sucks.

      Why's it suck? Mine is too and I played against a school brick wall and it wasn't that much better feeling....

    me at 2:51 : Why would practicing serves be good against a wall? The ball isn't touching the ground. Interesting.
    at 3:03 : Aaah now I see, there is no need to collect the ball. It's coming back.
    at 3:14: HAHAHAHA

    Jack, congratulation for your video. Tell me, how distant are you from the wall on 2:05''?

    • @jackmontmeat9173
      @jackmontmeat9173  6 років тому

      I havent measured Ronald, but I try to stand in what feels like the proper distance if the wall were the net, so somewhere between 30 and 40 ft, maybe 35

    Question, are you USTA rating, if so, what is your rating?

    • @jackmontmeat9173
      @jackmontmeat9173  9 років тому

      +Erich Plate THanks, but I dont have a USTA rating right now-I just play in local leagues and recreationally, and for exercise.

    tennis wall smh... this is supposed to be 4 handball courts. That's why the wall is 20' high. But they painted a tennis line on the wall instead.

    • @jackmontmeat9173
      @jackmontmeat9173  5 років тому

      interesting, I never saw it used as a handball court, that would have been before my time there, but that makes sense

      @@jackmontmeat9173 handball is not as popular as tennis. Sometimes it's frustrating to see handball courts referred to as Tennis Walls. One of the courts near me they have even put up signs on the handball courts, TENNIS ONLY. This is not your fault, just the state of Handball as a sport, a lot of times the handball lines wear away and the next thing you know a horizontal stripe goes up on the wall. :( ua-cam.com/video/7cLWnDjdBX0/v-deo.htmlm30s

      @@jasoncarter3921 Thanks Jason for the videos-it is amazing seeing the intensity of the King of the Court Finals. I have to admit I’ve never seen anyone play handball before in Connecticut, but its interesting to me that it was played there in the past-anyway, seeing now if I can get a family member to go out and just hit around a bit. May I ask, is it a racquetball ball that is used, or is it its own ball? Thanks-jack

      @@jackmontmeat9173 It can be fun, I was looking for tennis footwork videos to help my handball game, and came across your video. :) I don't know if they are near your area but check out New England Handballers someday facebook.com/NEHandballersInc/?ref=br_rs
