Keep us updated on the new ball joints, SPC has been known for having ball joints and bushings that wear excessively fast and fail prematurely over the last several years. Supposedly, they have changed the design of the joints, including the boots, to make them maintenance-free and last as long as they’re supposed to. Looks like they sent you some of those new ones.
Approximately 7000 miles and mostly road driving with about 30% forest road driving. No crazy aggressive off roading and I don’t drive my vehicles hard.
@classicminidiy wow and they gave out that fast. What a terrible product. Mine have about 15k on them and I have a slight clunk while going over bumps... all my driving is road
They were a warranty replacement from SPC but I believe these were what they sent me. I would reach out to them to double check. www.spcalignment.com/index.php?option=com_spc&task=part_description&pid=25002

I’ll post an update after a few months here. Hopefully they hold up well. So far about 800 miles on the truck and no issues and no grease explosion
I think that’s the new ball joint it’s sealed just like mine in my 4Runner
