So glad to finally have another great Symphonic Metal Band that isn't from Finland or the Netherlands for a change. :-) We have a few more in Germany, but apart from Xandria they are not really well known... They are around since 2014 or so and released 3 CDs so far. If you wanna listen to more of their stuff, there are at least 2 full Wacken Shows on UA-cam (2015 and 2016), i was there both times, great stuff. Jennifer participated in the german Version of Beste Zangers (Sing meinen Song) this year which seamed to help selling them out a few shows in Germany. Let's hope they are around for a long time!
Oh man,it made me smile alot....because i noticed a friend visiting you below here. Well,at least i consider him a friend at this point. PageMonster is a wise, kind, funny and amazing person. We tend to share the same taste in music too. And we are in a common community or 2,that focuses on helping eachother up when we are down, boosting eachother even more when we have reason to celebrate/be happy etc. So it allways makes me smile to see him and others from theese communities around. 2:53 Didnt see that coming did you? 🤣🤣
Very upbeat/high energy song and Jennifer sounds good live. That's always the big test for new bands who I've only heard studio output from. Good job by the band. They are another to add to my collection of symphonic metal. Cheers!
A nice combination of great clean female vocals & male growls - just like Epica. Jennifer's voice reminds me of Sharon den Adel from Within Temptation.
Ok, here some suggestions - not all live, i'm afraid. But they are some of my personal favorites: Rage Before The Storm (Live At Wacken Open Air 2015) ua-cam.com/video/4NvREViu_tc/v-deo.html Shine And Shade ua-cam.com/video/CFs2W-GZMFg/v-deo.html Song for the Godless ua-cam.com/video/TxOWye3nlgk/v-deo.html My God Is Dead ua-cam.com/video/-oabrNJTZYU/v-deo.html Dies Irae ua-cam.com/video/2kkAkicr00A/v-deo.html
First casting band of symphonic metal... Seem them a few times now. Last time in Wacken this year with my daughter. She's 12 and big fan of their first album. After 2 songs, she said: "Can we go now, this is boring." I immediately got what she was trying to say. She felt the hollowness of the performance too. We were'nt watching a band. We were watching a female singer with a backing band. No soul left in their performance. Beyond the Black, sorry, for me are empty shells promoted by Wacken. As more as you listen to the songs the duller they get, especially live. I must say, I did enjoy their first album though.
I never heard this band before. You are right she has a beautiful voice. The band is really good to. Thanks for sharing........ :-)
I just posted one more.
@@ollytherock7324 Saw that thanks....... :-)
@@fdsannie You are a rock star.... Thank you again for being you.

I heard them for the first time as they were a first part for a Powerwolf + Epica concert back in 2017. They were quite good!

I would not call them symphonic metal.

Three years ago Beyond the Black actually were the support for Within Temptation on the German leg of their tour.

Good choice! Not a fan of growls but this worked along with her vocals.
So beautiful vocals.
Pleasant but unremarkable vocals. The guitar riff was ripped straight from Fear Of The Dark.
