Could you explain how Nawaz portrays characters differently? I feel that too. But quite frankly, I am unable to find the appropriate logic behind that feeling. I like it that someone else spots the difference too.

First of all let me tell u i am a huge fan of nawaz and his work after watching all his movies, adds , short films and interviews present on internet i am in a state of mind to tell u this actually nawaz leave it all to the director and other members related to the movie to decide about how his character is gonna be after he gets advice from his director he creats and forms his charector accordingly he clearly wrote in his book how he maps his role he actually thinks how his character would react in bathroom or a normal place and then he shapes his character he belives that a director is a person who thinks about the whole film and he only knows about his character so its important to work acording to the directors vision for the betterment of the film which is different to what raj does raj also is very much attentive towards his dorectors but differently but it works for both of them. nawaz being such a great talent also emprovises, many of his best scens are example of that. thats his natural tallent but he is from NSD and he has learned a lot there if u have not seen lunchbox then go and watch that one scene where nawaz has invited irrfan to his home that scene is a masterpice actually what acting is all about.

He is a genuine guy. I saw him at a temple on my trip to Pushkar and he was there, without any security and it was just after Bose: Dead/Alive had released. I was blankly watching him go past me. I blurted "keep up the good work" and he replied back by politely saying "Thank you" and went down the stairs. No arrogance, no ego, just a humble person wanting to do good movies.
The fact that he is willing to do research, in other words, learn for and from his work as well as implement what he learnt as well as not stick to quintessential roles that fit him just goes to show what a wonderfully passionate guy he is.

Last 2 minutes of this entire conversation were the highlight for me. Thats the difference between people who want this job as a means to an end (money, fame etc.) and the ones who treat the job and the joy in its execution as an end in itself.
As others have commented here, this was certainly a masterclass. Just realised something. Some actors live their characters and are able to relate to them years after the movie's release. For others, their characters are simply that, a chance to exhibit their acting talents. And once they are done shooting, they tend to forget these characters because they essentially want the teacup of their minds empty for the next cup of tea, so to speak. Surprisingly, though, both kinds of actors are nevertheless able to display a similar acting brilliance regardless of the length of time for which they inhibit their characters.
I loved the way he explained the realism part and how he wants to stay connected with people you encounter in your everyday life. Hope he stays the same. Big fan of this actor. :)

I loved the way he explained the realism part and how he wants to stay connected with people you encounter in your everyday life. Hope he stays the same. Big fan of this actor. :)
If I meet him anywhere my only advice will be to stay away from KARAN JOHAR, ROHIT SHETTY, YASH RAJ FILMS, BARJATIYA PRODUCTIONS.

Rajkumar has huge huge potential as a creative actor. All his roles are convincing. I just want to see him now in a absolutely new avatar as actor. Some role which nobody expects, which he is not.
