It's WAYYYY harder. You can't get witch time with a well timed dodge. You need to do a FRAME PERFECT DODGE AFTER YOU GET HIT to get witch time from moth within

Unlike Bayonetta 2, there's no character select option in the chapter menus, instead, you have to create a new save file so that you can select her.

How on earth does the plot work in Bayonetta playing as Jeanne???? Like she’s (spoilers) on Balders side and she’s brainwashed by him so like it doesn’t really make sense if she’s hearing all these messages coming from balder

Well, I think it's more of a gameplay thing, not only with Jeanne's skin but also with her own fight quotes and summons. Besides you can hear Cereza's voice in the cinematics.

This guy kinda plays like a noob in some spots. Like he was having trouble with Witch time when he tried his hand at that alfheim. Granted Alfheims are arguably harder than Bayo 2's Muspellheims, but I'm sure if he unlocked Jeane he can play the game. I'm not trying to insult the guy, just saying he needs improvement. I myself need improvement, so maybe we can improve together

I mean this a two year old comment I'm aware,but you can also unlock Jeanne through an in game cheat rather than being at the game. So you don't necessarily need to be good to unlock Jeanne. I would know xD
