FAQs-
Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080 - Авто та транспорт
Even on a rainy day the landscape is beautiful.
Anyone else laughing at the sound of the windscreen wipers 😂
Thanks for the ride along. Love going...🤗🤗
Great video beautiful way to see Lancaster county side.
Liked and shared 🧑🏻👍🏻🚒
I'm a former 3rd Generation volunteer firefighter in New Jersey and my station I was with when I started my career had 2 stations a main station, and a sub station. We had 2 Engines, a Quint, a Utility with cascade capability, a Marine Boat and Batallion Chief Vehicle and our trucks were Robin's egg blue. Then when I moved in with my grandmother the company I joined had white and green trucks and had a Squad And a Quint
Nice vid!
Awesome Video
Is it a legal requirement to yield for emergency vehicles in the USA , other road users seem to be so obliging or obedient ,even at red lights..
Yes, in the United States you are required by law to yield to emergency vehicles.
@6:35 failure to yield
They did as good as they could. There wasn't much of a shoulder.
they yielded. hte best they could and gave the fire department the right of way. it would be dumb as hell to pull on to rain soaked grass
Not the most suitable weather for traveling in a large and heavy car.
Im always amazed by everyone getting out of your way. That doesnt happen here lol
Is your department a volunteer department? I am curious
Yes, they are volunteer.
