I am pretty sensitive to weight and things touching behind my ears & get headaches. It took me a LOT of searching to find loupes I could wear all day. The op d op II was too heavy for me when I was in school 15 years ago & the skids, while adjustable, just still pinched too hard. Everyone else in my class who wore them LOVED them, so they are very comfortable for most people! I’ve ordered the ultralight one because of it’s weight and the clearance- my loupe light is cordless so the battery (the size of a AA) sticks up and out so I need more room than most faceshields can offer & I’m hoping it fits my light! I’m missing my light so badly right now! Thanks for the video. Stay safe out there, everyone!
Just Mouthing Off - the Ultralight faceshield was lightweight and comfortable, but I do not like it. The hinges loosen all the time, the shields are meant to be swapped on the visor frame each patient so they are ridiculously flimsy, and it does not give enough clearance for my Designs for Vision cordless light. I have a loupe-lid from Makers4Medicine on the way that I hope works!
