My 98 year old Mom died in a hospice room when everyone had left for a short dinner. The attendant said people usually pass when everyone has left the room. Perhaps this is the most peaceful way to go instead of relatives shouting at you that they love you and to please hold on.

@ Robert Anderson this is extremely interesting that you mentioned this because my step-father died after suffering from bowel cancer & he was actually in hospital & he died during the 5 or so mins that it took for my mother to go to the bathroom & return to his bedside & the ICU nurse said the exact same thing. Then my Nan also was in hospice & the same thing occurred, as soon as we left to go outside & have a cigarette upon returning to her room we discovered in that short amount of time that she too left this world & the hospice nurse repeated that same statement also, hence why when reading your comment it immediately caught my attention. So this for whatever reason is clearly 'a thing' that occurs definitely more often than not, interesting.

Even if relatives aren’t shouting at their loved one and asking them to hold on, but simply feeling the sadness and the heaviness of the grief of their impending loss can hold a Soul back. The best thing we can can do is to give our loved ones our blessing and permission to depart in peace, knowing the purpose of their being embodied has been fulfilled and is complete. Express your gratitude, say farewell, and give them the freedom to fly home unencumbered by the burden of feelings of guilt or responsibility for the pain of your loss.

I was alone during this time, but it seemed to be like going to sleep and waking up. I remember everything, but when I woke it was 15 day's later and I was in the hospital. My point is that each of us will have a different experience, but you shouldn't fear death. "You are eternal "

We can go into the universe if we avoid the light and then we won't ever have to come back to the physical. We have an astral/light body and with that we can fly, and not need food or water.

We are all energy matter and energy matter is never wasted and recyled like water that evaporated to form clouds and comes down as rain.

Wow I’m kind of speechless at listening to this man’s words. My mother died when I was 14 from complications from liver issues from alcoholism. She was not in a good place when she passed. The night before she passed she came and told me she loved me and to take care of my father. Without going to deep into it, she passed in the morning while we were at church but here’s the part that has stuck with me for 34 years. I had a dream that night unlike any I’ve ever had before and since. It’s hard to describe because in it I could hear my mother screaming but it was something I could feel as well like I was falling that sensation you get in your stomach. There was no light only darkness. Again I’ve never had a dream like that again but his explanation of how fear and paranoia can snowball in the afterlife sounds like what I experienced.

Be seen as a loser, feeling alone, be branded as an outcast, always feeling like you don't belong, get weak, broken bones, abandoned, suffering, get killed, die
I've seen so many good people die... all die in vain
Nothing good comes of trying too BE good in this world negativity seems to get more praised than compassion.. this world's awful.. I see more bad than good
It seems that goodness can't survive here.
      like it's forbidden
So far it looks like goodness ain't gonna fix anything in this world...
Maybe a monster is what this world needs too set it straight... I mean it seems like the only thing we're good at creating.
Why is everyone the way that they are??
Why does everything have to be cruel

You may, in truth, experience as an enlightened being in this life, and yet CHOOSE (it's all choice) to experience as an unenlightened person in your next life. It's not always the way we humans think of these things.

Mind is such a strong force. But you are tuned to believe otherwise. Mind moulds you and your ways inside and outside. Yogi is Yogi because of his mind. We share the same universal mind which is why we live the same world. It is the mind's world. Nothing to do with reality. But we are tuned to take it for real. Just like the dream.

I was raised Catholic- But I am also very sensitive to energies and am an empath. What you are saying matches up more with my feelings I’ve always had about the ‘next life’. ❤ I feel a sense of validation now after hearing your words and am very appreciative 🫶🏻❤️
I have always felt that life is a huge mass of energy. I said I was sensitive above; which just means I’m sensitive to the energies around me whereas others can be completely oblivious. I liken it to having a heightened sense of intuition. I can feel somebody’s auras or energies but the way they calculate in my brain is through color. So instead of a visual representation of the color of a persons auras- I can FEEL the color? I guess the best way to explain is this: if a certain energy is more angry or callous or arrogant- it comes across as Red. If an energy is emotionally charged - love, kindness, sadness- It comes across as Blue. Calm and peaceful energies come across as Green; and so on and so forth. So when you’re talking about the state of the energies when passing; a lot of things clicked for me. Because I definitely feel the energies here on earth that are left behind. I believe in spirits or energies roaming the earth- what we would call- Ghosts. And I’ve always looked upon those energies as being stuck in Limbo. Some of those energies can be benevolent and some malevolent depending on their state of mind when passing. Like when somebody says a house is haunted with an angry or evil spirit- I think that energy; when it was linked to a body- must have experienced a horrific end. Or maybe it was an evil spirit attached to the body all along.
Just thoughts- and i probably sound crazy but this helps me to put pieces together that I’ve always known were there but could not properly express before. ❤️❤️❤️

Old thinking has been that if we do bad in this life will have bad karma and go to Hell at death. The problem is that people born with problems might do bad because they cannot control themselves or, at minimum, do nothing with their lives due to limitations. How would this make sense that they are to suffer at birth, through life, and then after death? My belief is we are like waves in the ocean. We rise from the source, become identifiable, crest, fall, and go back to the source. We are not individuals, like the wave does not separate from the sea as it rises.

There is no all encompassing law that applies to every situation. There was a lady who rescued many Jewish children from the Nazis in WWII. When she was discovered the Nazis chased her and while running from them she threw herself under a train to commit suicide rather than be captured by the Nazis. I feel that she doesn't suffer for this, but if anything would be rewarded. You can't say that, 'she died violently therefor she has a bad afterlife', as if you're a bureaucrat in a Government agency ticking boxes and directing people to their fates! Life is complex. Every situation is different. You must look at the individual situation. These talks are too general to take that into account. Don't fret, it's all good in the end. 🙂

Gurdjieff mentions these tendencies as crystalizations, good or bad, useful or not, and says that the concept of afterlife depends on them. As it seems no matter the challenges, we have to figure certain things out while still alive if we aim to a certain continuity. The state we leave this world is inherited to our next life. It is very important we learn to read certain signs, our idiosyncrasies, no matter the social context. Knowledge of the self is probably the key of the universe.

It was great feeling. After I woke up I was so relaxed but with my mind did not want to come back. I was in my bed still not moving for a while settling in kinda for the day. I was still there with my mind.. and during the day I was thinking about this dream how wonderful it was and how great I was feeling. I’d like to go back there for a few hours again I’m so tired.

Let me make some corrections about this. The "bubble" is a type of quantum field that gains a type of gravity and density the more data this field captures through experiences and thoughts. When we die, this fundamental part of ourselves, or our soul as some would say, is already vibrating at a certain frequency, just as all things are determined by vibrational energy. Whatever frequency the soul is, it goes to a realm that is aligned with that frequency type within a certain range. Think of it like the universe is a radio station and different souls are like songs on their respective stations. Once here, we can still change our frequency through various means, but your life-long accumulation of energy is much more important in determining where you "end up" compared to the manner in which your machine that you pilot during life fails.

Im probably one of the few people who can recall what I saw before I was actually born. I just remember traveling thru a vortex of colors, some sort of melodic sounds , pitch blackness and then a doughnut shape light appeared several times and the next thing I know Im in some kind of container at the hospital. By then Im fully aware and able to tell my mom details she says are impossible for me to know. I can even tell her what the doctor looked like during my very 1st check up as an infant. My earliest dreams were frightening and it almost seemed as if I came here before my time. Everything seemed to be 10 years off. I know for certain I was killed in a civil war battle in my previous young life by a single shot and then sacrificed as a young girl thousands of years before. My lucid dreams over the years reveal that I existed not in this world but another world or dimension here on earth. I know this because Ive had the same dreams in the same places, doing different things with people consistently for the last 20 years.

Your past lives are actually not your lives, but the lives of your counterparts, who are interconnected with you through your essence. Think of your hand as your essence, and your fingers as the different counterparts of the hand. Each finger goes about its own experience, not aware that there are other fingers belonging to that same essence having their own individual experiences (all these lives are simultaneously to each other. Linear time is perception that we experience). You, as one of the fingers, can tap into what the other fingers are experiencing, however, for again, you are all interconnected. In fact, you do experience what they experience in your dreams, but you go thinking it's just dreams. It's the same when ppl do past life regressions; they are actually tapping into the lives of their counterparts who experience their lives simultaneously to each other.

But because ppl will not accept or understand such idea, most will reject such experiences (future lives) if they have any.

@@SpiritualReformSo by your model of consciousness I have two hands that oppose each other and also ten toes below doing the same confusing bit. That seems to draw on the duplicity of life and can lead to many versions of why. I see that bc of the physical map of the body one head leading to two hands branching off and beyond the sexual and mobilizing section ending in another branch off. But still in the end it must get back to the individual experience ( the head.) Simultaneous lives might explain your soul group or the way we use the hands to connect socially with them. And so forth. Very interesting.
I know only two things about death that leaving the body we lose attachment and separation. After that I cannot know and that is for some reason I cannot know either. Attachment and separation kind of explain my existence. But what if that's not so, we're being misled life here is like life there only with timeless dimension, it would seem that's what we know to do here, where does that come from otherwise.
Hey that sounds good doesn't it , maybe I'll post this in the general comments too.
Thanks for that piece of my understanding .
