-3 Cups Cake Four Sifted
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream or Milk
-3 Sticks of butter unsalted
-6 eggs
-1/2 tsp vanilla Extract
- 3 Cups sugar
- 1/4 or 1/2 cup Crushed Pine Apple
Glaze / Crust Top
-1/2 cup Melted Buter
-1/2 cup Dark or light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 or 1/2 Cup Hennessy

Thank you for the video. I never thought of Hennessey cake. I hope it is okay to say this, but just to clarify, any time you have to measure up sugar, flour, and any type of flavoring like vanilla to bake a cake, is considered from scratch. A box cake only needs eggs, butter/oil and liquid. Also cake flour consists of flour and corn starch. That's it. It doesn't have baking soda or powder. Other wise, great note tips. A lot of people don't realize the more a batter is mixed, the tougher it gets.

Thank you for your version. I have made this many times and typically add the 🍍 juice. I like the way you placed the pineapples and 🍒... I also like the idea of brushing the cake with more alcohol afterwards. 😋
