Good man the more converts the better 😂 I'd love to try an auto command or the new type cvx while there a bit different to drive the box is very well done in them and supposed to be more reliable than the power command ones
Great video, very interesting, informative and entertaining. Tractors have come a long way since the Ferguson 20. I was walking home from the pub late one night last summer, I passed a field with a tractor parked in there, I though I could hear the engine talking to the transmission, nobody would believe me, they said I was drunk, now I'm not so sure😂
you have a good technical knowledge of the gearbox. Alot to be said for the standard sliding mesh manual gearbox. One time you would expect the gearbox to be the last thing to go on a tractor, gone are the good old days.

Interesting vid, no CVT around here,range command all the way!. Off topic,just wondering how you'd rate fusion 2,you went from 1 to 3. Fusion 2 probably bit old now anyway. Running a5500 and 5600 but can see fusion at some stage.
Your about a week too early as I speak about it in the videos I hope to have out over Christmas. It depends on what you want to do a fusion 2 would be poor in short wet grass and blocking the pickup you might have experience with that in the one you have?

You will need to go into more detail . Keep the up and down arrows pressed on the pillar display it will bring you into the fault code menu . Select the sgr and let us know what codes you have.

Hi I currently have a cvx 1195 in the workshop for stepper motor replacement. I also have an air problem like yours. Cold start you can hear the transmission shuddering. Even the transmission cooler on top of the transmission makes loud shuddering noise. Could it be a similar gasket problem to yours? Would like to get information on this before we put everything back together. Thanks. P.s: Great video you have made here
It can be a couple of things I'm told. It's either that gasket or the seal on the hydraulic pump, if it's the seal on the pump she will pull the transmission oil through the hydraulic pump. Or it could be seals on that low pressure pump. Unfortunately you can't get the seals off case but there's a company in Dublin can do the pumps up I'm not sure what it costs. Also you need to be sure your transmission filter inside the plastic housing is fitted properly. Sounds silly but it is difficult enough to get it on right. Out of curiosity how much was a stepper motor
@@mrcvx cheers for the information. I must check the filter. It seems to stop when the tractor warms up. I know if you open the filler cab on the back you can hear it hiss air out. I got the stepper motor reconditioned by a lovely more than helpful guy in Italy. Company is called farmelec. They have a wealth of knowledge and used to WhatsApp me pictures and information about them. They had some tractors in their workshop and was helpful for information

Sometimes you need to have a deep pocket, when going through a main dealer, to get something fixed. 😅😂🤣 But also you need to be a bit mechanical minded to do some of them job's. It seriously helps you anyway. Personally I'd be a very small bit mechanical minded. So even doe I'd have an idea of what's wrong with a yoke. I'd be more likely telling a more experienced person than me about & let them do it. As I feel it helps them to go to the exact spot of the problem. Also I'd be the person that would tighten that nut you were on about to tight & fuck up the rest of the thing's along the line. Your to try & prevent thing's from happening, before there time, so to speak. As I was looking at the transmission, 1 thing I spotted was why weren't the numbers of the different parts, going around the picture like a clock. Instead of having them nearly all over the place. 😅😂🤣 Great video again. Keep it up. 👏👏👍👍

Fendt's first sold cvt was the 926 vario in 1996
Your right I didn't think of that I suppose there was never any fendts around here until modern times but the cvx seemed to be a hit straight away

Not much trouble with blocking until autumn 2017, figured out what lads on about. Wet grass jammed in front of rotor ☹
Look on the bright side it’s Better than it happening in the height of the spring or summer👍

Cvt without a doubt its more user friendly and generally gives less trouble

What did it cost to recondition the stepper motor if you don't mind me Asking

No what it does is it sends an error to the transmission ecu and it won't let you drive
Can the CVT transmission be put in a Massey Ferguson 390???
Nothing is impossible I'm sure by the time you'd have everything got made to get it to work you'd be a couple of hundred thousand down the drain

A luxxum uses the same gearbox as a Cs I'm nearly sure? Its definitely a steyr design on them anyway

Dont reckon any make of CVT transmission would be reliable after 10000 hours on any make of tractor it would just be down to your luck
