@@zanb35 oh its definitely more than 5g, ive heard something around the estimate of 60-70% are classified government satellites aka military ops. Even ground base telescopes in observatories reckon the pollution in the sky will be to the point that the only way of seeing anything at all will be from orbiting telescopes like hubble and james webb. Its really quite sad, especially when the general public is clueless and always looking down at their phones instead of up towards the sky..

@@alan6 I wonder what they could be? I try to stay as logical as possible when searching for UFOs but I really don't know what they could be. Rotating satellites, maybe? I see them well past sunset though and satellites are usually only visible for a certain period of time after the sun sets.
Many years ago I was working a night shift coming home at about 4:00 AM I was walking to the house I looked up at the sky and there was a faint steady blinking light not moving, watched for about 5 mins not being to figure out what it could be. I have spent a lot of time out under the night sky with scopes and have seen a few things I could not explain.

I’ve heard there is a satellite “graveyard” several thousand miles away where decommissioned satellites are sent. Apparently they go VERY slow in comparison to active ones. Could these be decommissioned satellites slowly spinning?
@@Mothball_man I don't know enough about it all but I think it's a plausible reason for sure. There's so much stuff up there that some of it is going to catch the light just right. There must be the same effect of when the sun reflects off of your watch and it's super bright if you shine it just right
Very interesting. You have a 2nd stationary flashing object on your video. If you split your screen in vertical fourths, look at the 1/4 quarter on the right side of the screen, almost the same height as the one on the center. It flashes in the same spot. The two satellites side by side or whatever they are is something I've never seen before.
In the first clip there was a second stationary flashing life a touch lower and about 2/3 across the scene to the right. Slower flash interval I think, but definitely stationary and constant.
I noticed this as well! I was thinking pulsar? Would we see it like that in real time? Then the other one mid-right started like you said stationary. Thats pretty strange...it would have to be either reeeeeeeeally far away n maybe reflecting or shining...or in an orbit around us going exactly the same speed as the rotation to remain unmoving to the naked eye/telescope.
@@djmattyice6569 If a pulsar existed so close to earth that you could see with the naked eye, it would cause chaos and throwing off the orbits of the planets. Most of the pulsars are only visible in the radio region of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Definitely not. Pulsars send radio signals, additionally it would move across the sky with all the others stars. But this object here almost stays where it is or moves slightly to the left. So my best guess would also be a satellite. If it's an old one, maybe even out of control, it would not be unusual if it's rotating/tumbling, which would cause periodic reflections of sunlight. If the time and location is known, when and where it was captured, then Stellarium or heavens-above.com might help to identify the object.
@Bence Sebők I've already explained why this is definitely not a pulsar. And you're right with satellites moving very fast, but the speed varies and depends on the altitude. The higher the orbit, the lower the speed. At an altitude of about 36,000 km above the earth satellites move with the same speed as the earth rotates, so they always stay above the same spot on the surface. This could be what is seen here in the video.
Very impressive photography. My wife and I saw some similar and other phenomena every night before she passed away. My brother and I still see them with the naked eye. Many of the ones that I see are supernatural.
I came across your video because I see a pulsing light tonight on Bribie Island. The timing and brightness isn’t consistent. I feel like it may have moved positions slightly but I’m not too certain. I was unable to capture it on my phone and camera. Will give it another go later with your settings.
We’re out in western Arizona and observed a flashing object in the western a few times in the last week or two. We see it with the naked eye. It is stationary then diminishes. Can also see the international space station. It is a white light moving across the sky and does not flash.
I’ve been seeing this shit all year along side more crazy shit!! The sky lighting up in a Collumb for 5 seconds and stopping. Crazy shit is happening right now
my roommate and i live on the outskirts of a medium sized city... just dark enough to see many stars. I've see this flashing light in the sky for years. It's always stationary visible in the summer from about 12:30am-5:30am. Sometimes the interval between flashes is exactly 60 seconds. Just saw it early this morning around 5AM. Thanks for posting the video, curious where you location is because I'm certain we're witnessing the same thing. I'm in Greensboro NC
That stationary flasher night after night is interesting. I'm a stargazer myself and have noticed that before but very rarely. I'm not positive what it is either but have tried to find out........Best I can guess is a geosynchronous (locked in one place to the earth) satellite that is spinning and catching glints of sunlight reflecting them back to earth.............And I read your description after I comment. Lol, yeh I think your right scannerguy.
Sunlight bouncing off of a satellite or some thing spinning was the same thing that I thought as well but still… Very curious and we could be 100% wrong and that's scary
I've seen them many times now.. in Southern Skies. I've seen them well after midnight and therefor totally in shadow of earth.. ive seen them way down near the south celestial pole.. so cannot be geocentric satellite. I've quite stuck on it too. They flash a few times, then dim and then I spot them in a different location.
@Frank Roberts There are many satellites that have died since their original positioning and may still be in that position and have began a tumble while holding close to that orbit. N ow deemed space junk but still have to be tracked to avoid collisions with active satellites.
at 1:00 there are two stationary blinking objects. the one in the middle, and one on the right side. the later one is blinking once every 7-8 seconds. it's position is about 1/4 from the right and about 1/3 to 1/2 from bottom.
I saw the same kinda thing on 29th May 2021 around 22:15 (IST). It was blinking every 12.64 seconds. Did a lot of search but didn't find any proper answer...☹️

Nicaragua, Managua. 11:25 pm, March 26th 2023. I sat and watch that stationary satellite/star for 30 min. Straight. It blinks every 20 sec. Approximately. It's probably a satellite so far away that it has a fixed orbit to earth.
Cool video. If you zoom right in on the "stationary" flashing lights, you can see that they are moving, albeit very slowly. I've seen these a couple of times myself. No idea what they are, my research has hit a dead end. "Geostationary satellites are directly overhead at the equator and appear lower in the sky to an observer nearer the poles" so it says on Wikipedia. The one's I saw were in the north sky, away from the equator. Also, I've seen other reports that they were away from the equator.
Hi . So i have experienced this more then ten times now. Australia, Queensland .Different parts of the eastern sky. Usually I would get 3 or four flashes max, then last night I was sitting with my daughter and it started up. In stayed in the same position and flashed like a camera flash over 40 times!!! I was amazed. The intervals between the flashes varied from seconds to over a minute. I am so tired of people saying satelite reflecting or iridium flashes or space junk. None of these make sense. Have you had any luck figuring it out?

I've never seen the night sky like that in person. Definitely one of my goals one day. I live in The Netherlands the night sky is almost always clouded hopefully I'm going to Norway soon the night sky amazing there.
I saw exactly this in the night sky about 2 hours inland from the gold coast in australia, it baffled me! it was exactly the same as this, except the flashes were about 15 to 20 seconds apart. not moving at all
Saturday the 19 th around 4:30am I watched an orb in the east direction move back and forth for twenty minutes and then it took off like a bat out of hell

In the raw/uncropped video, if the flashing dot is in the exact same place in the frame every time, it could be a hot/dud pixel, made even more prominent by the very high ISO. An easy way to invalidate my theory would be to switch to a different camera, and if it's still there then you have yourself a genuine anomoly! It could be one of the satellites that are on a geostationary orbit? They do not move (satellites like Directv and Dish etc)). They actually do move, but they match the speed of Earth's rotation so they appear to be stationary.
I saw this thing flash at me, only after I shot my laser at it a couple of times.. It flew far to the left, stopped and was stationary and flashed back at me again. idk man...

I thought I was the only one seeing these stationary lights that seem to flash about. Every 20 seconds. Phew, I’m not crazy. Usually with my binoculars but occasionally with the naked eye on a very clear moonless night. I don’t believe they are geosynchronous satellites as those have to be over the equator and I’ve seen them to the north before (I’m in the northern hemisphere). No explanation here.
I live in South Wales UK and I have a panoramic view from east to west from my bedroom window and I sit and watch the night sky regularly and on Sunday just gone I witnessed a large oval shaped orange craft materialize and it became a huge orange ball that grew really bright and then faded away like an old style lightbulb gradually to nothing and it was really impressive to watch and then last night there was a cloudy sky and I was waiting for a gap in the clouds so that I could see some stars and when it came I saw a solid white orb shaped craft speeding along and it was really travelling and gone in no time at all, definitely not an aeroplane as I live near to Cardiff airport and I am well used to indentifying planes, truly incredible and mesmorizing.
CHECK THIS. The two flashing lights in seem to be in sync. The flashing light in the middle and the one on the right is flashing in around a 2:1 ratio - but the ratio seems constant. Maybe they're not connected and both just flashing at a constant rate. Weird none the less
I have been watching these stationary blinks in different locations as well as 2 blinks then slow movement 2 blinks slow movement then 1 blink and then nothing or just random blinks with some movement and then nothing. It almost seems like the different blinking object are using this to communicate to one another like Morse code. I have been seeing this for the last few years and it’s increasing in frequency here on Long Island New York. Very strange I have no explanation but I keep looking up using my fujinon hyper clarity 8x42 binoculars and can see them through the binocs.
same with me. seeing these flashlights for a while. they even change trajectory. and sometimes the flash is really intense. sometimes they show up very slowly. sometimes they only flash once or twice. sometimes they flash some 20 times. some folks say its space debris /satellites rotating. some might be, but i've seen them changing trajectory and the majority happens at 2 or 3 am, when they couldn´t reflect sunset or sunrise sunlight. it can obviously be some sort of spy satellites, but it might be some friends from outer space.
I love to watch night sky at the end of day to calm myself. Came to internet looking for ansewers now. Few times now through lets say one year (more or less) in the same area i saw... It flashes/blinks 3-4 times in intervals few seconds apart then goes dark. Yesterday it happend again. 3 blinks same area around 10 seconds apart. Then nothing. The sky was clear as i could see all the stars in the area of blinking. It wasn't a plane as it blinks in same area always. I know how satellites look as there are many to be seen moving above my area (europe)... Not saying aliens, but I'm curious if there are some projects we ordinary people don't know about... What about space station? Could that be a posibility? Or are they same as satellites?
All the crazy stuff flying by and your only curiosity is trying to figure out what the stationary flashing object is? I mean maybe I’ve completely been wrong about satellite capability but I’ve never known they could shoot through space at those speeds never mind how far away some of those very faint lights or “satellites” must be given the speed you see them whizzing by at.. amazing footage man.

I live in Ireland and see the exact same thing with naked eye. I'm thinking a stationary satellite as well. No sound either so I don't reckon it's a helicopter or aircraft.
Blown away by this camera!! I had no idea you could capture such stunning clarity and crisp resolution in color of the cosmos in real time. I’m an amateur stargazer using PVS-7D NVG with an L3 white phosphor 3rd gen non auto-gated, filmless tube. I’ve seen near identical satellite arrays including the tandem flyers and “blinkers”. 99% of which are not visible to the naked eye. Your recordings are like 3rd gen in massive light collection but huge advantage in color with no halo bulb effect on some of the brighter ones. The blinkers are perplexing to me as well. Since most do not have lights save for StarLink, I’m not sure what’s going on there. Perhaps rotation as you pointed out. Gen 3 does reveal infrared and magnifies faint light. What lens model/combo are you using with your camera? Is there a vendor you recommend? Seems to me a game changer for astrophotography! I see the camera body is still pre order but almost here, 24-September on Amazon(and many of the new series lenses). Haven't seen them in a few years, but I use to go out front of my parents house and I would see flashing lights in space that never moved. We can't be the only ones seeing these. Any idea of what it could actually be?

No sir I see it almost every night. It's not as often but it is definitely a strobe of some kind but it's more like 30 or 60 second intervals with the naked eye. This is the first I've found on the internet.
At certain times of night, it isn’t unusual. But factor in a clear moonless night, low light pollution as well. When it happens it’s amazing. Here in Arizona it seems to 3am-ish local time.
I have seen the identical thing a month ago, but it was near the zenith near midnight, no possibility for relected light from a geosynchronus satellite
The stationary flashing light can be tested to find out what it is. Point the camera elsewhere and see if it is in the same part of the frame, if so it may be a camera artifact like a hot pixel. I see other flashing lights that seem to be hot pixels maybe, though not as bright as that spot. Also research if it’s a star, some pulse like that right?
There's another "flashbulb" at the 3 oclock position halfway out from center in first video. Another stationary light. Don't know if you realized it or not.
Earth-orbiting satellites are in geostationary orbits, which means they appear to hang directly over one particular spot on Earth. They appear to be "stationary" with respect to a spot on the Earth because they have an orbital period of 24 hours, just as the Earth does. Basically they are at an orbit far into space that it takes them 24 hours to complete a full orbit just as the Earth takes 24 hours to make a whole spin...
Stick with 102400 iso because anything above it is being boosted by software in the camera which is why you have lots of pixelation. 102400 ISO and 1/25 shutter speed at 25FPS are the best settings.
I saw something very similar to that except it wasn't consistent in intervals of the flashing and it appeared to be moving but not in a constant direction either. I'm in Alaska and it's starting to get very dark so the sky's were super clear which is probably why I was able to spot it. I've been watching the night sky for a long time and I've never seen anything like that before.
i see those flashing lights all the time. they move. they flash. they move in different direction. i started seeing them in 2018. (satellites don't do that)
Did you notice what looked to be a triangular shaped or crescent shaped object moving diagonally from the lower left to the upper center toward the end of the video? Maybe it was a plane.
HI, thank you for posting . I am picking up a similar light that flashes every 17 secs. Northern sky in Sydney, Australia. I managed to record it with infrared binoculars. It cannot be seen with the naked eye. Too small. This one moves and appears to flash at different locations within a small radius of the night sky.
I saw the identical thing last night with the naked eye, but it was near midnight, near the zenith! So there’s a lot of Earth’s shadow to prevent it from being satellite
I've been out the past few nights in the UK watching the sky & I've seen multiple point source stationary flashes, seen them for a few years now! I've just been out tonight to watch the ISS pass over & lo & behold as it rose up from the west a flash just north of it! This phenomenon is little documented which suprises me as I usually see several flashes every time I go out to satellite watch.
We have some great stuff here in Florida,I have some amazing photos,daytime, seems like to me they are no longer afraid to show their ships, because what we see, they are definitely not satellites or space trash, ?? My x husband was in the air force stationed here at MacDill Air Force Base, so I've seen plenty of air shows, but these things are nothing like the planes we have??the TR3b is not a thing that resembles these things, they are of different shapes and sizes.just recently I have been seeing the flashes,also.
The flashing light still can be seen! I also have recorded it last year, and captured it just recently. From what I saw through the camera, it looked like an object rotating, and the flash was caused from light reflecting off of it. I saw it in the northern sky, just under the little dipper. Unfortunately I do not have a telescope to make any closer observations. I am however curious to find out what it is.
I have been seeing the same thing over the last week. One time it was a slower pulse of light as opposed to a quick flash. Using NV binoculars all I can see is the light itself whereas satellites and planes through night vision remain visible. I want to know what it is as well. I’ve only captured it in my cell phone BUT I also have a pic from the daytime from the same spot. Whatever it is seems to be suborbital

GEO's are in a narrow belt across the sky, I guess you would need to figure out where that belt is for your location. Not sure they would flash, maybe. The one you show blinking is odd.
Yo, I used a laser on one of those things, and it started flashing back at me.. Flew a bit, then stopped and blinked stationary. The laser can make them move in sporadic ways, not anything a sat or plane would do. Try it out, if you have such a tool.
I just recorded this flash 2x after seeing it about 7x total in less than an hour. I believe it was the same place in the sky. Have you been able to gather any information about it?
I've not seen this phenomena until tonight, seen a few spinning satellites but they move then fade out, the light seemed to interact with my LEP light. A Flashlight light that can easily be seen from space.

Very impressive photography. My wife and I saw some similar and other phenomena every night before she passed away. My brother and I still see them with the naked eye. Many of the ones that I see are supernatural.

I came across your video because I see a pulsing light tonight on Bribie Island. The timing and brightness isn’t consistent. I feel like it may have moved positions slightly but I’m not too certain. I was unable to capture it on my phone and camera. Will give it another go later with your settings.
We’re out in western Arizona and observed a flashing object in the western a few times in the last week or two. We see it with the naked eye. It is stationary then diminishes. Can also see the international space station. It is a white light moving across the sky and does not flash.

my roommate and i live on the outskirts of a medium sized city... just dark enough to see many stars. I've see this flashing light in the sky for years. It's always stationary visible in the summer from about 12:30am-5:30am. Sometimes the interval between flashes is exactly 60 seconds. Just saw it early this morning around 5AM. Thanks for posting the video, curious where you location is because I'm certain we're witnessing the same thing. I'm in Greensboro NC
That stationary flasher night after night is interesting. I'm a stargazer myself and have noticed that before but very rarely. I'm not positive what it is either but have tried to find out........Best I can guess is a geosynchronous (locked in one place to the earth) satellite that is spinning and catching glints of sunlight reflecting them back to earth.............And I read your description after I comment. Lol, yeh I think your right scannerguy.
Sunlight bouncing off of a satellite or some thing spinning was the same thing that I thought as well but still… Very curious and we could be 100% wrong and that's scary

I've seen them many times now.. in Southern Skies. I've seen them well after midnight and therefor totally in shadow of earth.. ive seen them way down near the south celestial pole.. so cannot be geocentric satellite. I've quite stuck on it too. They flash a few times, then dim and then I spot them in a different location.
@Frank Roberts There are many satellites that have died since their original positioning and may still be in that position and have began a tumble while holding close to that orbit. N ow deemed space junk but still have to be tracked to avoid collisions with active satellites.
at 1:00 there are two stationary blinking objects.
the one in the middle, and one on the right side.
the later one is blinking once every 7-8 seconds.
it's position is about 1/4 from the right and about 1/3 to 1/2 from bottom.
I saw the same kinda thing on 29th May 2021 around 22:15 (IST). It was blinking every 12.64 seconds. Did a lot of search but didn't find any proper answer...☹️

Nicaragua, Managua. 11:25 pm, March 26th 2023. I sat and watch that stationary satellite/star for 30 min. Straight. It blinks every 20 sec. Approximately. It's probably a satellite so far away that it has a fixed orbit to earth.

Cool video. If you zoom right in on the "stationary" flashing lights, you can see that they are moving, albeit very slowly. I've seen these a couple of times myself. No idea what they are, my research has hit a dead end. "Geostationary satellites are directly overhead at the equator and appear lower in the sky to an observer nearer the poles" so it says on Wikipedia. The one's I saw were in the north sky, away from the equator. Also, I've seen other reports that they were away from the equator.
I see these all the time (stationary flashing star looking lights), here in rural West Virginia. I LOVE watching the night sky. So full of mysteries.
Hi . So i have experienced this more then ten times now. Australia, Queensland .Different parts of the eastern sky. Usually I would get 3 or four flashes max, then last night I was sitting with my daughter and it started up. In stayed in the same position and flashed like a camera flash over 40 times!!! I was amazed. The intervals between the flashes varied from seconds to over a minute. I am so tired of people saying satelite reflecting or iridium flashes or space junk. None of these make sense. Have you had any luck figuring it out?

I've never seen the night sky like that in person. Definitely one of my goals one day. I live in The Netherlands the night sky is almost always clouded hopefully I'm going to Norway soon the night sky amazing there.

I saw exactly this in the night sky about 2 hours inland from the gold coast in australia, it baffled me! it was exactly the same as this, except the flashes were about 15 to 20 seconds apart. not moving at all
Saturday the 19 th around 4:30am I watched an orb in the east direction move back and forth for twenty minutes and then it took off like a bat out of hell

In the raw/uncropped video, if the flashing dot is in the exact same place in the frame every time, it could be a hot/dud pixel, made even more prominent by the very high ISO. An easy way to invalidate my theory would be to switch to a different camera, and if it's still there then you have yourself a genuine anomoly! Great night vid, amazing just how many satellites are up there in cross-cross orbits 👍

It could be one of the satellites that are on a geostationary orbit? They do not move (satellites like Directv and Dish etc)). They actually do move, but they match the speed of Earth's rotation so they appear to be stationary.
I saw this thing flash at me, only after I shot my laser at it a couple of times.. It flew far to the left, stopped and was stationary and flashed back at me again.

I thought I was the only one seeing these stationary lights that seem to flash about. Every 20 seconds. Phew, I’m not crazy. Usually with my binoculars but occasionally with the naked eye on a very clear moonless night. I don’t believe they are geosynchronous satellites as those have to be over the equator and I’ve seen them to the north before (I’m in the northern hemisphere). No explanation here.
I live in South Wales UK and I have a panoramic view from east to west from my bedroom window and I sit and watch the night sky regularly and on Sunday just gone I witnessed a large oval shaped orange craft materialize and it became a huge orange ball that grew really bright and then faded away like an old style lightbulb gradually to nothing and it was really impressive to watch and then last night there was a cloudy sky and I was waiting for a gap in the clouds so that I could see some stars and when it came I saw a solid white orb shaped craft speeding along and it was really travelling and gone in no time at all, definitely not an aeroplane as I live near to Cardiff airport and I am well used to indentifying planes, truly incredible and mesmorizing.

CHECK THIS. The two flashing lights in seem to be in sync. The flashing light in the middle and the one on the right is flashing in around a 2:1 ratio - but the ratio seems constant. Maybe they're not connected and both just flashing at a constant rate. Weird none the less

I have been watching these stationary blinks in different locations as well as 2 blinks then slow movement 2 blinks slow movement then 1 blink and then nothing or just random blinks with some movement and then nothing. It almost seems like the different blinking object are using this to communicate to one another like Morse code. I have been seeing this for the last few years and it’s increasing in frequency here on Long Island New York. Very strange I have no explanation but I keep looking up using my fujinon hyper clarity 8x42 binoculars and can see them through the binocs.
same with me. seeing these flashlights for a while. they even change trajectory. and sometimes the flash is really intense. sometimes they show up very slowly. sometimes they only flash once or twice. sometimes they flash some 20 times. some folks say its space debris /satellites rotating. some might be, but i've seen them changing trajectory and the majority happens at 2 or 3 am, when they couldn´t reflect sunset or sunrise sunlight. it can obviously be some sort of spy satellites, but it might be some friends from outer space.

I love to watch night sky at the end of day to calm myself. Came to internet looking for ansewers now. Few times now through lets say one year (more or less) in the same area i saw... It flashes/blinks 3-4 times in intervals few seconds apart then goes dark. Yesterday it happend again. 3 blinks same area around 10 seconds apart. Then nothing. The sky was clear as i could see all the stars in the area of blinking. It wasn't a plane as it blinks in same area always. I know how satellites look as there are many to be seen moving above my area (europe)... Not saying aliens, but I'm curious if there are some projects we ordinary people don't know about... What about space station? Could that be a posibility? Or are they same as satellites?
I see one similar to that but also another one, much brighter, much more time between flashes. They are both visible with the naked eye.

All the crazy stuff flying by and your only curiosity is trying to figure out what the stationary flashing object is? I mean maybe I’ve completely been wrong about satellite capability but I’ve never known they could shoot through space at those speeds never mind how far away some of those very faint lights or “satellites” must be given the speed you see them whizzing by at.. amazing footage man.

I live in Ireland and see the exact same thing with naked eye. I'm thinking a stationary satellite as well. No sound either so I don't reckon it's a helicopter or aircraft.
Blown away by this camera!! I had no idea you could capture such stunning clarity and crisp resolution in color of the cosmos in real time. I’m an amateur stargazer using PVS-7D NVG with an L3 white phosphor 3rd gen non auto-gated, filmless tube. I’ve seen near identical satellite arrays including the tandem flyers and “blinkers”. 99% of which are not visible to the naked eye. Your recordings are like 3rd gen in massive light collection but huge advantage in color with no halo bulb effect on some of the brighter ones. The blinkers are perplexing to me as well. Since most do not have lights save for StarLink, I’m not sure what’s going on there. Perhaps rotation as you pointed out. Gen 3 does reveal infrared and magnifies faint light. What lens model/combo are you using with your camera? Is there a vendor you recommend? Seems to me a game changer for astrophotography!
I see the camera body is still pre order but almost here, 24-September on Amazon(and many of the new series lenses).

Haven't seen them in a few years, but I use to go out front of my parents house and I would see flashing lights in space that never moved. We can't be the only ones seeing these. Any idea of what it could actually be?

No sir I see it almost every night. It's not as often but it is definitely a strobe of some kind but it's more like 30 or 60 second intervals with the naked eye. This is the first I've found on the internet.

At certain times of night, it isn’t unusual. But factor in a clear moonless night, low light pollution as well. When it happens it’s amazing. Here in Arizona it seems to 3am-ish local time.

I have seen the identical thing a month ago, but it was near the zenith near midnight, no possibility for relected light from a geosynchronus satellite
The stationary flashing light can be tested to find out what it is. Point the camera elsewhere and see if it is in the same part of the frame, if so it may be a camera artifact like a hot pixel. I see other flashing lights that seem to be hot pixels maybe, though not as bright as that spot. Also research if it’s a star, some pulse like that right?
No hot pixels, I live in Denmark, can confirm. Same thing here, specially when you flash a laser at them, they flash back.
There's another "flashbulb" at the 3 oclock position halfway out from center in first video. Another stationary light. Don't know if you realized it or not.

Earth-orbiting satellites are in geostationary orbits, which means they appear to hang directly over one particular spot on Earth. They appear to be "stationary" with respect to a spot on the Earth because they have an orbital period of 24 hours, just as the Earth does. Basically they are at an orbit far into space that it takes them 24 hours to complete a full orbit just as the Earth takes 24 hours to make a whole spin...
Stick with 102400 iso because anything above it is being boosted by software in the camera which is why you have lots of pixelation. 102400 ISO and 1/25 shutter speed at 25FPS are the best settings.
I saw something very similar to that except it wasn't consistent in intervals of the flashing and it appeared to be moving but not in a constant direction either. I'm in Alaska and it's starting to get very dark so the sky's were super clear which is probably why I was able to spot it. I've been watching the night sky for a long time and I've never seen anything like that before.
i see those flashing lights all the time. they move. they flash. they move in different direction. i started seeing them in 2018. (satellites don't do that)
Did you notice what looked to be a triangular shaped or crescent shaped object moving diagonally from the lower left to the upper center toward the end of the video? Maybe it was a plane.
HI, thank you for posting . I am picking up a similar light that flashes every 17 secs. Northern sky in Sydney, Australia. I managed to record it with infrared binoculars. It cannot be seen with the naked eye. Too small. This one moves and appears to flash at different locations within a small radius of the night sky.
I saw the identical thing last night with the naked eye, but it was near midnight, near the zenith! So there’s a lot of Earth’s shadow to prevent it from being satellite
I've been out the past few nights in the UK watching the sky & I've seen multiple point source stationary flashes, seen them for a few years now! I've just been out tonight to watch the ISS pass over & lo & behold as it rose up from the west a flash just north of it! This phenomenon is little documented which suprises me as I usually see several flashes every time I go out to satellite watch.

We have some great stuff here in Florida,I have some amazing photos,daytime, seems like to me they are no longer afraid to show their ships, because what we see, they are definitely not satellites or space trash, ?? My x husband was in the air force stationed here at MacDill Air Force Base, so I've seen plenty of air shows, but these things are nothing like the planes we have??the TR3b is not a thing that resembles these things, they are of different shapes and sizes.just recently I have been seeing the flashes,also.
The flashing light still can be seen! I also have recorded it last year, and captured it just recently. From what I saw through the camera, it looked like an object rotating, and the flash was caused from light reflecting off of it.
I saw it in the northern sky, just under the little dipper. Unfortunately I do not have a telescope to make any closer observations. I am however curious to find out what it is.
I have been seeing the same thing over the last week. One time it was a slower pulse of light as opposed to a quick flash. Using NV binoculars all I can see is the light itself whereas satellites and planes through night vision remain visible. I want to know what it is as well. I’ve only captured it in my cell phone BUT I also have a pic from the daytime from the same spot. Whatever it is seems to be suborbital

This one is not labeled as light flash, but at the second time stamp, you will see the flash. Though it is tough to see, but it looks to be moving. Check it out! @@Tanner_Campbell Wow! Was it roughly in the same area each time? Thank you for letting me know! When I witnessed the flash, it would be totally random, but seems to be in the same location. It also appears to be just outside our atmosphere. Wish I had a telescope to see what it is.

GEO's are in a narrow belt across the sky, I guess you would need to figure out where that belt is for your location. Not sure they would flash, maybe. The one you show blinking is odd.
Yo, I used a laser on one of those things, and it started flashing back at me.. Flew a bit, then stopped and blinked stationary.
The laser can make them move in sporadic ways, not anything a sat or plane would do.
Try it out, if you have such a tool.

I saw a star move around in a small patch of sky, one night in the early 90’s. Could not figure out what that was.
I’ve noticed this light going on for about 10 years now. Yeah it’s strange. And no explanation found since I started noticing it. There are others too

I just recorded this flash 2x after seeing it about 7x total in less than an hour. I believe it was the same place in the sky. Have you been able to gather any information about it?
I've not seen this phenomena until tonight, seen a few spinning satellites but they move then fade out, the light seemed to interact with my LEP light. A Flashlight light that can easily be seen from space.
Variable star? Geosynchronous satellite? It appears to be along the galactic plane. Any idea what constellation it’s in?
