Nice information and video. But let me correct one thing.
In stoploss order trigger price is price when your order go to exchange and Price only means it's the minimum price your shares will sell. If stock price suddenly goes below this price due to illiquidity your sell order will not get completely filled. Same thing for Target order in upside. In short we are giving RANGE for sell orders.
Also GTT triggering is not guaranteed. Some time orders doesn't go to exchange. It happened with me.

Hi sir super explanation.. I need one doubt today nifty weekly expiry did u see the 11400 ce now it is 58 laksh open intrast after closing the market and also expiry also finished .. Thank you for this very informative video. However how can we set Target and SL for CNC positions. Because right now, for a position, we can either set a SL or Target. Thank you.
This is the most clear explanation provided for SL in GTT on zerodha.
Like you said, I don't want to spend too much time worrying about stocks (that I hold) falling. So, I've been looking for Trailing SL in GTT orders but I haven't been able to find it.
The SL could trail maybe 15% below so it would only get triggered in the worst case scenarios.
Does any trading platform in India provide this feature?

I am full time working professional and due to paucity of time not sure how to continue in this field as an investor and in case there is an opportunity, i would also like to do Intra day trading.

Sir % difference should one keep between trigger and price Stoploss order for long term to ensure it is executed in case of a sudden fall.

What about CDSL TPin verification that needs to be done everyday for holding. Should we keep verifying TPin everyday or is it a one time process?
You have to do it every day. Or else your GTT will be triggered and wont execute. it will cancel the order and place a new GTT order.
