It really depends on what you are looking for. I have both and they are both terrific. However, I lean a little more in favour for the Moroccan Amber.

@@AGentlemansJourney77 I am sorry, I miss that one. The Indian Sandalwood is really interesting & bizarre at first but later charming & intoxicating one. I did a right-left hand comparison alongside with Diptyque Tam Dao, the apparent difference is 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕

This really is a colder seasons fragrance. If you choose to wear it in the warmer months I'd say 1 spray to see how it acts in the heat.

It's almost ubiquitous these days that fragrances stealthily hide woody ambers under the guise of "saffron" in the notes. Even before the Elixir trend, "nutmeg", "amber", "mineral notes", "ambergris", and even "leather" were common culprits. But real saffron/safranal is just too expensive to use in mass perfumery. Safraleine is a common substitute. And since quite a few woody ambers burn the nose like rubbing alcohol, it's easy to mistaken them for so many things, especially spices. I would advise everyone to be on the lookout, since it's the cheapest, easiest, and now gold standard way to significanly extend the longevity and projection of a fragrance without adding heavier woods or sweet base materials. Still a fan of this line though. 🧡🤎 Some of Dunhill's best.
