Not just beautiful! Brilliantly elegant! Love how you park the car (out of the rain) to bring in the shopping and you are right there in the kitchen area! No 15 trips all around or through the house to prepare for a big dinner with family or friends!

I live in an apartment where I have barely enough room to walk sideways around the bed. It is difficult to change the sheets. Two of these rooms would be really hard. I would go two bedroom and make both bigger.

Just change them to smaller beds. They're likely kids rooms anyway.
The loft area could act as the master bedroom so the two bigger bedrooms on the lower part makes sense.
I agree...I'd go with two bedrooms and a bigger bathroom with the toilet and shower separate so more people can use it at the same time...

The house is nice but it seems like there isn’t enough storage space maybe make the top room a real bedroom and make the 3 bedrooms down stairs into 2 bedrooms plus a outside closet or pantry
Agree. That’s what i noticed first.
I think the idea here is to live more minimally with only things you need. Most families have too much extra stuff.
@@christine1373 I understand trying to minimize your foot print but half the time it’s not practical it’s more of a trend. Think having some privacy is needed to live with your family. And half the time when u watch people live like this it’s only with smaller children and when they grab stuff they half to take out half their kitchen to get it . It’s funny how tiny house has became a trend when u got poor people living in trailer park which is a tiny practical house
@@lizardman1303 Yeah they do only show them with small children! Good point. With teenagers it wouldn’t be a very comfortable situation but maybe it’s meant to be a starter home.
The upstairs would be my master, I would drop a wall and make the living area bigger, with 2 bedrooms below. very nice!

I would swap the three small bedrooms with two slightly larger ones. One as the master bedroom, the other as the guest room or storage and have the attic be an office space.
I would add an additional Bathroom with the Master bedroom.

love the house but would probably put a sofa bed in the attic and instead of a balcony, a small powder room for the visitors (across the stairs to the attic) and a master toilet/bath.

I like this but, I'd personally remove the middle room, giving both end rooms more space, then expand the bathroom out slightly to take up that extra space caused by the closet area in the "girls" room. Then it would be perfect for my needs & wants :D
Due to the lack of the middle room, the bathroom would have more space, and I can move the doors for the bathroom & bedroom more comfortably.

I would also add a genkan at the base of the stairs and use part of the closet in the bedroom as a shoe and coat closet accessed by the entry

C'est trop petit pour trois chambres. Avec deux chambres, la cuisine auras pas l'aire d'un gardé manger/semblant de cuisine. En plus de l'espace perdue au grenier 🤔
Tant qu'à faire créer une maison de 18'× 36' ou 20'×40' mono plan avec annexe de rangement saisonnier et outils pour la maison...
Visite maison, bonneville ou maison Laprise pour inspiration.
Désolé ton concept est trop vieux style à mon goût

The Attic looks good to be remodeled into an extra bedroom
I'd change the first floor layout into two bedrooms with bigger built-in cabinets and space for a study/work desk. The attic could be turned into a loft bedroom and home office.

Very efficient & convenient design, though I’d prefer more space everywhere; around 2M wider & 2M deeper would provide a much more spacious feel, & a proper stairway to the attic. Climbing up & down that ladder would get old fast, lol.

Overall, nice design. The bedrooms are a bit tight-- two would be better, and add a balcony on the back of the rear bedroom. But where is the utility closet? Hot water, heating, cooling are necessities.

This is a very nice and cozy design. The spaces were maximize beautifully. I love the fact that there is a dirty kitchen cause it gives more space to the dining and kitchen area. Love it!

A lovely house except that it may benefit better with just two bedrooms downstairs and one above given that the rooms are so cramped up. Perhaps by reducing one bedroom will give more space for movement and placing of furniture, and a larger wardrobe will be more practical.

Absolute no space for a dresser, making the beds would be a royal pain in the butt. Laundry? Between what I have for pots, pans, mixing bowls, baking, glasses, dishes, utensils, where would I put food? A 2 burner cook top? An oven is a necessity. Looks pretty, but not very "user" friendly.

Get a 8x8 shed w/ utilities for
W/D that shares house septic tank, small item storage, seasonal.
Get bed frames that have under bed drawers/storage or 'Murphy Beds'. Make one bedroom a two bed one bedroom with Trundle Beds. Problem solved?
@@PoM-MoM I've lived in 1,000sqft home. 3 bd, 1 ba. Half attic and shallow basement. 1 bdrm had no closet, another had a closet that was about 3ft. Laundry was in the kitchen. I know what it is like to live in a house that small, did it for 24 yrs. I didn't hate that house but I sure didn't like it.
Your suggestion of laundry in a separate shed would really be tough on the plumbing. It would have to be done at the same time as the house was built. To re-work the plumbing at a later date would be super expensive.
You've got me thinking. Where would the water heater go? And the furnace/a.c.? It's the way my brain works.

I'll make it en-suite for every bedroom like what I did with my 7 bedroom bungalow now plus a Powder Room at the balcony so guests will not use the bedrooms bathroom.
Balconies take up too much space. Better to have larger rooms that a big balconey.
