I like her voice. She doesn't sound as cookie cutter strong like majority of the girls. Honestly, if I was just listening and not paying attention I would think the same girl was singing most of the songs. I think I like "pretty" vocals opposed to "strong/belting" vocals.
i agree so much, sometimes simple refreshing voice gives more feeling, instead of unnecessary adlibs
preach. i was monitoring some comments about this show on a kpop forum and so many people were downplaying kei's performance and i just didn't get it. a lot of the other girls wen't off key and didn't have as clear and stable performances as kei, but the stigma that anyone with a more "powerful" voice is automatically a good singer is clearly clouding some people's judgement. it also makes me mad that kei's performance was criticized by seo in young as being too much of a visual performance basically just because she danced.

ari elle Unfortunately that issue is everywhere. There are waaaay too many people out there who think someone who has a "powerful" voice is a good singer and everyone else is just "normal" or "not good" (unless they're talking about Jihyo from Twice...then they want to say she shouts because she does have that much power in her voice.....but anyone else who has the same timbre and technique are awesome singers).
Kei is a wonderful singer! Great that she can showcase her singing more now! I still remember her short cover of Disney's 'Reflection' in Lovelyz Diary. Hope she can choose a more powerful song next! This girl has got more talent than just aegyo! Kei, fighting!

Great performance. Her voice is not so "powerful" as many people like, but she is really good at live performance. Her voice is so stable.
This is just the beginning so I'm looking forward to Kei's future performance. Friday is certainly a safe song but Kei successfully showcased her voice colour. I would love to see my flower grow throughout the show. Fighting my flower Kei ❤

Sunggyu must be so proud while watching his Lovelyz dongsaengs, especially Kei, at the corner of the stage. Hahaha. The fact that Sunggyu is a host in this show assures me that Kei would feel less nervous because a family member is with her. My infinite lovelyz feels~~
The funny part is Sunggyu said he isn't close to Kei xD So I hope this show will bring them together as well as make Kei feel less nervous, as you said xD

I like her voice, she's my ub but I wished they gave this competition to Jin instead. I saw her recent picture and she looked tired as hell. She already has a lot of individual schedules and I dont want her to stress over this show. She works so hard too. Jin could have used this stage to show her strong vocals to the public. She deserves more love for her voice too. Support Lovelyz forever! ㅠ.ㅠ

my take .. kei is the visual and vocalist, woollim gets her more schedules, coz she has the duty to bring out lovelyz's name out there, this isnt about whose voice is better
candicane 666 I know that she's both main vocalist and visual which is logical that Wollim keeps promoting her. but it's kinda sad that all these years it isn't enough. Jin is underrated. she only gets 1 solo song before debut.

Don't get me wrong I don't want lovelyz to disband or lose any members but I like Kei more in solo performances than in Group ones. She doesn't really stand out much in the group but when she performs solo or in a duet you can really see her talent

I never see anyone talk about those two dancing men. I swear on every clip I have watched they look and seem genuinely enthusiastic about ever performance and are dancing away. Love it.
In this stage, Kei is like just show face expression. But when she sang Atlantis Princess she really focused at everything that she have to perform
